About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

perfect day!!
Staff was super friendly and helpful! My Tee time was after a big group but check in sent me ahead. So a perfect day!!
Course is in overall good shape however when I arrived I was prepared to hit the range before seeing as it’s routine for anyone who plays golf. Seeing the amount of buckets out and people on the end of the range was fully expecting it to be open. However was told it was closed even though there was people on the range and I had just watched another member walk out with 2 full buckets of balls as the workers inside were all gathered around talking and on their phones at the front desk

Best Course for the money in all of DFW
Great fairways, friendly staff, good facilities, perfect greens, only 1 or 2 tee boxes that are a little grown up but that’s it!

Never disappoints
This course isn’t long, but with nothing blocking the wind.. it sure feels long. The greens are amazing, fairways are good, not great but good. They have made some repairs and shaping out really nice. The wind will make or break your day. Shot my first 74 here, then the next week shot an 83. I wish they would make the greens a 12… fast greens would make this course my weekly. If you’re trying to find somewhere fun to play… and not beat to crap.. this is it.

Nice layout. Bunkers were redone recently
This was a nice track. I drove 45min to get there which may be a bit more than what I got for, but if you live in the vecinity this should be in your shortlist. Greens were punched like a month a go (or so) and they were rolling slow. Some pin positions were just ridiculous (eg. in the mid of a slope). In genral it was a good course to play. I would put it in the 50 buck range for a full price round. More than that seems to high for this course.

Just an honest review
The layout of the course is nice and challenging enough. My problem w this course over the years has been the greens. It’s been like putting on carpet for a looong time. So I refused to go back and waste my time. My friend finally convinced me to go back on 4/8/23. I was pleasantly surprised. The greens were rolling faster and true (could be faster tho…imo). The bunkers were refreshed and in some holes redesigned nicely. Cart paths in some parts were renewed. They aerated the fairways recently so when I played, they were ‘roughed up’ but did not impede play in any way. Overall I’d say that I was pleased and looking forward to returning and adding Mansfield on the list of regular courses to play. Nice job folks at Mansfield mgmt.

This course has gone downhill. It used to be well manicured, and nicely kept up. No water on course. 5 hr round due to very slow play .
