About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Pretty solid course
I’d say this is a great course for a newer golfer or someone that’s not hitting the ball straight, like a duck hooker or a slicer. It has really wide fairways and you have a lot of room to miss on both sides, on most holes anyways. Can’t speak on the practice putting greens or driving range as I did not get a chance to warm up. Overall a really nice golf course.
Winter conditions
Winter conditions on fairways. Greens were in good shape. Don’t recommend during the winter. Probably very nice course in summer.
Cool course
Course was in good shape the greens are the best I have seen in a while but hole 5 needs some work the tee box for the tips on that par 3 needs to be redone.
Thank you for taking the time to comment. We have cleared trees in the area of hole 5 tee box to promote more sunlight and eventual turf growth this season.
Excellent condition greens
Nice course, pretty wide open layout very approachable for any skill level. Greens were in exceptional condition considering time of year. Would recommend.

Great layout, greens in very good shape, played from tips & a good challenge. This is winter golf season, so have to take time of year into account. Management taking this time time to rework bunkers & irrigation, but does not interfere w play overall. Course will shine in the spring.
Terrible Etiquette
35 degrees outside and sunny. Got to the course at 9:40 for my 10:00 tee time and was told they are under a frost delay until at least noon. There is 0 frost on the ground and the weather was beautiful. I drove over 30 minutes and was asked why I didn’t receive a phone call that my tee time was going to be delayed by at least 2 hours. I was told they don’t have time to call 100 people when all 4 guys in the pro shop were just standing around doing nothing. Terrible experience.
Great course for the money.
I played a day after a heavy rain. They covered the greens and the grounds were well taken care of. Course is decently challenging and overall a good time.
Good layout, needs work
Tee boxes were in TERRIBLE shape, greens weren’t bad considering they are growing them out for winter it seems. Layout is playable, I’m sure in the summer it’s nice. No water jugs or ball cleaners at all on the course, also only saw the cart girl once the whole round…when we were on 16 at that. Guy in the shop seemed nice, gave me a bandaid, so I guess that’s one positive to end on.

Nice course greens could use some work
I liked the layout of the course.
The fairways were above average I thought for this price range golf course.
The rough is pretty thick, which is different than most courses in this range. So they were actually penal, didn’t mind that at all, it was a fair challenge.
The greens were a little bit of a let down. They were very very slow. I’m not sure if this was their normal cut on their greens or we just played on the wrong day? They also did not roll true. Many putts missed because the ball was hunting a line. This could be a byproduct of them being cut too long. I am not a greens keeper so I’m only guessing.
Mansfield National
I like this course!! Today the greens and fairways were slow due to the rain . The course was in great shape. My only complaint still about this course is the bathrooms!! There are only portapotties on the course and they are far and in between.
