Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Golf, Texas, January?
Believe it, like our group and many more who played that day! Greens are a little fuzzy but other than that we had loads of fun! Saw cart girls several times too!
Great course. Overbooked.
For January course was in great shape. Way over booked and everyone was on top of each other. Need to space out tee times better. 1:30pm tee time and didn’t finish 18 before dark (6:30).
Great Shape for December
Course was in very good shape for the end of December. Greens were pure, even a little slower than normally quick. Always opportunities for birdies!!
Bad Greens
This course has the slowest fuzziest greens i've ever played on. I really would like to know what their stipmeter reading is on these greens.
Greens
I have MTB played this course in over a year due to the greens always being shaggy and slow. A year later they are still the same. They look nice but they roll like carpet. It’s unfortunate.
Nice course
They have done a great job of being prepared for winter. Greens are not real fast but not easy. Great courses for the prices. My only issue was the sand traps are mud pits,
SLOW, SLOWER, SLOWEST PLAY
It’s ridiculous to allow 5some play let alone on a weekend (Sunday) Tee off time was 1:12 and played last hole #18 in the dark. A 5 hour round. waited on ever hole to hit tee shot. Par 3’s had 2 or 3 groups waiting on tee box. So the course over books tee times and they have no marshals on course to keep golfers moving at a acceptable pace that combined with allowing 5somes to play and you have a 5 hour round of golf!!! Terrible course management!!!
Painfully slow play.....
10:30 am Tee Time finished at 3:50 pm. Five hours and twenty minutes for 18 holes of golf. Completely ridiculous pace of play. After the first hole the two groups in front of us started playing as one group. Seven players.....we called the pro shop and they sent a guy out to break them up. They paired up again on hole #10. They were broke up again. At this point they really slowed down, hitting extra tee shots and dragging their feet on the greens.
The course is great. The greens had been mowed and they were rolling pretty fast. That’s really as positive as I can get with this review....
I did have some great company. Good people and fun to spend the day with.
I’ll be back, but never again on a Sunday. Your best bet here is a week day or a early morning Saturday tee time.
Nice greens
Course was excellent and pace of play was good until we got to back 9.
Backed up on hole 11.
We had to wait on every hole to tee off after that.
Course let to many groups tee off in a short time frame.
Obviously need to make tee times a little farther apart.
Overall it was a good day and course was in good shape for December.
Mansfield in the fall and winter months.
Great course , lots of scoring opportunities....be prepared to hit it firm on the greens, so slow. They were mowed, but not super tight. It’s completely understandable, heavily traveled course. Probably in protection mode for fall and winter months.
Great layout, I’d always recommend this place. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Fun course.
Great Course! Friendly Staff
Excellent course to play on, especially if you're a beginner.
