Located right on the Jersey Shore, Twisted Dune Golf Club is popular for it's beautiful views and challenging game. The deep ravines and grassy hills provide picturesque scenery and they also create interesting hazards for a good game.

Tough day
The greens were air-rated recently and were tough to putt - I suck at putting and had many three putts during the day. I've played this course many times before and never realized how big some of the greens are - so make sure you know the distance to the hole if you can.
Course conditions
Course had just been aerated . Otherwise course conditions would have been a #5. Hidden gem
Anticipated more
Fun, challenging. Course needs lots of work .Looks like a John Deere tractor was driven in rough to unearth potatoes.
Could be exceptional if some money were put into fascinating track.
Great Public course
I belong to a private golf club so I was pleasantly surprised of the conditions on this challenging course. The club house was very nice with a porch overlooking part of the 18th hole. Too bad they don’t have a liquor license because there would be a lot of golfers hanging out on the beautiful outdoor space! I would highly recommend this golf course.
Very pleased
This course is surely one of the nicest public courses I've played. We had an early morning tee time and the weather was perfect. We found the course to be fair but challenging. Even from the senior tees, we still were 120-150 yards from the green when hitting our second shots. The greens held well on approach shots, the putted fast and true. As expected, they did get faster as they dried out throughout the morning. The traps, as many reviews had stated, were sometimes unplayable having rocks from the size of pea pebbles to softballs in some areas. That is simple enough--just pull it out if not playable. Otherwise, it was a great experience with friendly staff. I would not hesitate to play this course again--on a weekday that is. The weekend rates are a bit much for my budget and psyche.
course always in excellent condition.
hills & angulation make it an interesting & fun course to play.
Twisted excellence
Fairways, rough and greens in great shape even with dry hot summer. Course always fun to play. Worth deal time price!!!
Great links track.
Had the opportunity to get paired with a Father and Son from the area. I have to give them all the credit for making my day great. The course was in great shape. The tee boxes were good the fairways were nice. The greens were fast and challenging. The hot dog was good on the turn!! Overall I’d definitely go here before I pay over 150 to play at other courses.
Great layout
Great layout and very good conditions. Course was green and no burnout spots unlike other local courses due to the drought. My wife thought it was a great course.
Course is in great shape
Condition of the course was terrific especially given the heat and lack of rain we’ve received. Staff does a great job keeping things moving and the course is a fun but challenging coure
