About
The golf course at the Twisted Dune Golf Club is a public, 18-hole course that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. Located right on the Jersey Shore, Twisted Dune Golf Club is popular for it's beautiful views and challenging game. The deep ravines and grassy hills provide picturesque scenery and they also create interesting hazards for a good game.
Twisted Dune Golf Club lives up to his name with its twisting links-style layout, elevation changes, and rolling fairways. The golf course has par-5 holes that stretch over 500 yards as well as several par-4's and par-3's. The course also has wide fairways and large greens of bent grass.

Great course!
Great course we had a lot of fun! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The course was in great shape for it being almost December. Will be back for sure!
Someone stole the sand in the bunkers!
Course is in decent shape but not worth $75 on a November weekend. Bunkers have NO sand and mgmt has said they aren't going to fix them either. They were more of a base layer and pebbles. Face of my SW is ruined thanks to 2 divots on the face and my LW has a gouge on the sole. On top of that, I injured my wrist on my first bunker shot because of how thin the "sand" is. It's essentially like hitting a ball off the sidewalk. If you're not going to fix them, then fill them in.
Twisted Dunes Experience
Great Fall Day with temps in 70's but lots of wind. Just the way a faux links course is supposed to pay, Course conditions were close to excellent, green ran pretty smooth, staff always friendly and helpful. Enjoyable round with my son.
Twisted Dunes
For November the weather was warm and windy. This makes the course play much more difficult. At the moment some of the fairways are aerated, but no problem especially since it has been so dry. Greens were hard and fast. Looks like they had been cut and rolled. The only ding is they need to work on some of their tee boxes. Plenty big so they could work on parts of them.. Also, it looks like they filled some of the bunkers with sand and no longer just waist areas. Happy about that. All in all this is a good track and challenging.
Twisted Fun
This is the best GC in South Jersey, that's open to the public. Fabulous layout, challenging not overwhelming. You'll have a great day of golf. Staff couldn't be nicer
Tough but fair
Every hole is different and challenging! Greens were US Open fast and hard. Fairways were firm and fast. Sand was a little grainy, but consistent throughout. A great value.
Disappointed
Having played Whispering Pines several times before and the course was always in good shape. It was very disappointing to see how beat up It was especially in a time of year where Myrtle Beach golf course it should be in pristine shape.
The course layout is great and always a challenge to navigate.
There were no rangers moving along slower groups . Very slow round

Have played Twisted Dunes 10 times and find it to be challenging with a great layout. If you are in the area definitely a place to play

Perfect Fall day! Always friendly staff! Great rates! My third visit this year. Best public in South Jersey. Shhhh, keep that quiet! I did a rain dance in the parking lot before I left - we need it all over the Tri State right now!
