5 some in front of our group
Teed off at 11:30 and didn’t finish until 4:30 complete BS!! The starter said the group in front of us was going to split into a 2 some and a 3 some but they played together on the second hole thru 18. The starter said there are 2 marshals on the course and they would not be allowed to play together? I won’t be coming back ever!!
Very Happy
Butterfield has improved greatly since last year! They have put in the time to improve the greens …I would recommend this course from May - November at 5–Stars … The clubhouse food and staff are excellent 👍
Could be better...
There were several people who do not know how to play correctly, and do not know the main rules of the course, they were slowing down the pace of play and jumping the holes forward. Bad work on the part of the marshall.
Bad day on the course
I know the rate of pay is very different between 1,2,3, and 4 person groups. It is very hard to play and keep your mind good when you have to wait at least 5 minutes at every hole and have it take 1.5 hrs for 6 holes. This has been a constant issue here. As it took 5.5 hrs to play a whole 18 holes one weekend.

Course is OK
Fairways are ok-ish, still need more water, but getting there!!
Greens are decent, but a lot of unfixed ballmarks, which is not something the staff can control.
Can’t wait for the course to be back to pre-COVID conditions!!!
Round of golf at butterfield
Spend 6 hours on a round that should be played in 4. This is a killer.
Course Marshalls need to ensure slow groups allow fast players to play thru.
Challenging Course
It has to be the most challenging course in town. I can say even one of the hardest in a few miles around. If you want to be challenged this is for you. If you have never played, then look somewhere else or play from the reds. Views are spectacular, we'll kept, nice restaurant.
Fairways are well maintained! Greens are clean and fast.
