Getting closer to what it once was!
The course is starting to get back to it once condition. About 50% there in most areas, still needs much work from staff and maintenance from players as they play.
The pace still is terrible, because staff doesn't care as long as they pay to play. It's not that busy, but we got stuck behind a group of 7 playing and trying to coach all together, they finally let us through. Marshall had past us twice before we ran into this group, so proof he didn't say anything to them.
Good course, great staff
Greens roll true. They don't look great, but you can see the work in progress. Tee boxes are flat, fairways are green and wide and you get plenty of roll. Challenging layout that is fun, keep it in the fairways or on something green. Pace of play is my only complaint. It was a packed day and I would have liked to have seen a ranger keeping people moving.
Staff was great, friendly and helpful
I'll be back
Thanks y'all from an NC native!!
Course is in good condition.
Had a great time playing. Joined up with another golfer who was playing alone. Weather was just right for playing. We will play here again soon.
What could have been.
Great layout but greens and ponds are in poor shape. Way out in the middle of no where. Nothing special
Course is getting Better
Greens are alot better than when we played earlier this year and you can see they are still repairing. Keep the ball in the fairway as there is not much rough, rough is dirt, sand and rocks.
Make sure you eat at the restaurant, that is hidden gem in El Paso, it could compete with most full restaurants in town
Gem yet painful
This could be the best course in the El Paso area and although the conditions are improving they Re not there yet. And on top of that the staff over booked the course during mid day and did nothing to help the pace. Was an over 5 hour round.
One of the Best times my son and I had at the golf course. He has played other courses and I wanted to see how he would do at a challenging course. He did pretty good, I was impressed.
