Tiger Point Golf Club
About
The course at Tiger Point runs alongside the Intracoastal Waterway, offering panoramic ocean views. The course was designed in the tradition of classic Scottish links golf courses but with the added feature of water, which comes into play on 14 holes. A generous sprinkling of towering southern pines sets the layout apart as well. Originally a nine-hole course, another nine was added in 1984 and in 1989, then was another redesign of the golf course. Since then, it has becomes one of the Pensacola area's most treasured courses. Tiger Point also offers a driving range, practice bunker, two practice greens, and a chipping green.

Great place to play
Great place to play. Friendly staff. Course was in great shape.
This is a fun track
You get challenged with water, sand and wind here, but the course is very scorable in spots.
rebuilding
I have not played this course In about 2 years because it was going through a transfer of ownership and previous owner let course get into almost an unplayable condition. So I took a chance only because of GolfNow and I am glad I did and I took a old friend of mine and we had a great time. the course is in much better shape now and with the help of GolfNow I can afford to play it again, I live about 40 miles away . Thanks GolfNow.
Greens Get Me Every Time
We have enjoyed playing this course numerous times. As a beginner, the course is somewhat challenging and the greens get me every time. However, if were easy, then it would not be fun. Water hazards are abundant, so make sure to look at the layout before you tee off, especially on Hole 3 and 5.
This course is challenging
Great golf course, lots of sand and water, challenging, fun to play
Very nice course
Course in very good shape. New management has brought up conditions and help make course even more enjoyable. Greens were fast, fairways in very good condition. Cause has water on 14 holes and is challenging but enjoyable. I plan on playing her again
Tough course, but playable.
Course was in excellent condition. New carts on the day we played. Lots of water to contend with and a bit longer than my home course. Beat me up pretty good, but we're going back today for a rematch. Staff very friendly and the course was not as busy as it should be. Worth the rack rate, but the hot tee time price almost makes it seem like you're stealing.
visiting
tough course it was windy the day we played adding to the challenge. fun course to play do not expect to shoot your normal round.
Loved it!
Great layout, friendly staff. Plenty of tee boxes to accommodate all levels of ability.would definitely play again.
good
had a good time paired up with 2 other golfers enjoyed
Tiger Point
Very friendly staff. Love the course, challenging.
Course in Terrible Condition
Very disappointed in the course condition. The tee boxes were mostly void of grass. The fairways were spotty at best. The greens were okay; but, certainly not in good condition. I believe that this could be a top notch course if it was cared for correctly. The layout is challenging with water in play on most holes. The beverage person was great and it was her first day. Probably won't play here again until I hear that the course is in much better shape.
Great course - in great condition
This was our first time at Tiger Point, I was a little unsure of what to expect given some of the older negative reviews. Now I know, this course is in great condition. The staff is friendly and helpful. The views from the course are incredible, lots of water views of the sound. The fairways were in good conditions and the greens were near perfect, without being stupid fast - nor too slow.
The practice faclity was very nice, offering a driving range and putting greens.
I was told that the kitchen and dining area were closed and undergoing remodling - they should be reopen in a few weeks. Apparently the course is under new management, so far I like what I see. Tiger Point has earned a slot in my regular rotation.
Friendly staff. Decent greens. Fairways spotty
Nice course for the price. Fairways need some help. Greens inconsistent. Very friendly staff.
Very Good Course
This not a course for those who do not like to lose balls, however, it is a very challenging course. Well maintain and very friendly staff.
When in the area I would consider playing at tiger point again.
A day well spent
Got $20 of the normal price and played with my guys from work. 2 had never played here and really enjoyed themselves, although the water ate more of their balls than they desired. Some recent fire damage to the clubhouse diminished the overall experience, but the pro shop was business as usual. I really enjoy this facility!
Fun and Affordable
I enjoyed my time at Tiger Point Golf Club! It was challenging, but affordable. I had a great time with my dad and best friend, and I even made two birdies!
Well hidden gem
Course has multiple tee boxes and varying lengths. Can only play 18 holes because there is no turn at clubhouse. There are cart girls and plenty of water around, so you don't get dehydrated. Great variety of holes. Water is almost on every hole, but not always in play, so beware. Conditions were good. Greens were consistent. Bunkers were plentiful. Overall this is a well kept course.
Sand and Water
This course has beautiful views and is pretty challenging.
Well below average
Course conditions awful for price paid. Greens had not bren cut in quite a while. Tee boxes more dirt than grass. Overall below aversge.
