Port Ludlow Golf Resort
About
The Resort at Port Ludlow sits along the shores of the Puget Sound with views that stretch across the Port Ludlow Bay. Located just 90 minutes from Seattle, the resort offers a luxurious waterfront inn, a marina, an award-winning restaurant, and a championship 18-hole golf course. Robert Muir Graves designed the course. He crafted a layout that challenging but rewarding, all while preserving the beautiful natural surroundings. The golf course is just one of 10 in the state of Washington that is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. During your round, you'll enjoy abundant wildlife and panoramic views of the Hood Canal and Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges. The golf course isn’t long but it's tight and will require both accuracy and strategy. Many holes are dramatically sloped and there are hazards facing you at almost every turn.

Love this course! Greens had been aerated and were lumpy. Wet weather had prevented mowing of the rough. I would play this course again, anytime and any condition for the $16 rate I got!
Great course
Rough is really thick and sometimes hard to find balls. Also greens were recently sanded and bunkers were hard pan. Lastly, it may be early in the season but the hole signage was missing. Overall great course, good value!
A great course in bad shape currently
I have played this course many times and have always enjoyed it; but, this time was very disappointing. The greens were in terrible shape with many dead spots and quite bumpy and difficult to put. The fairways were exceedingly wet and the grass was nearly the rough.
Perhaps it will dry out somewhat and regain it's usual beauty and play as the spring progresses.
Great winter greens
The greens were smooth and rather fast even with a morning rain before the round.
Will play here again!
Great course conditions during the winter, friendly staff and awesome rates!
Beautiful course
Well worth a trip to the peninsula
Just over the hood canal bridge
great course, tall fir and cedar border fairways. elevated tees and greens
Have played this course many times before and Its a great summer course. The date I played for this review was Sept 29 and there was standing water on greens and fairways with bunkers filled with water. Carts driven off paths will do serious damage to fairways. Went to play this somewhat local course because my home course was aerating greens. Great value for the golfnow.com rate of $23.00 with cart had it been a month or so earlier in the year. Suspected I made an error when the parking lot was empty and the putting green was like a giant sponge. Welcome to Fall golf in the Pacific Northwest !!!.
This course is a nice layout in a beautiful setting.
Enjoyed the day, the course was well maintained and the staff were friendly. We had a foursome and were able to play with no one in front and no pressure behind. It was a beautiful day and the course is a fun course to play and very scenic.
A rainy round of fun
The weather was horrible for my first time on this course, but still had fun and enjoyed the round. Will definitely go back.
Some beautiful holes!
Friendly accommodating staff. Good golf and food. ,
Not easy...
The course challenges us to figure out where the ball will roll or putt...often not as expected. Need to keep trying!
great time for all
My foursome was treated outstanding from the time we arrived until we left. Course was great condition.
One of a kind golf course with every hole different and unique.
Great public golf course, challenging, beautiful scenery with easy pace of play. Tide & Timber are both great but different from one another. You don't get tired of playing the course.
Lots of blind holes.
Play 2 or 3 times every summer. Beautiful views of Sound and Cascades.
this course is average
course was ok...no better than a lot of other courses for a lot less money
Nice course on the Olympic Peninsula
I hadn't been to Port Ludlow for many, many years but enjoyed my recent round. Used to be three nines, now two. The course was well maintained, although it would have been nice if they weren't maintaining it so much while I was trying to play (mowers were annoying). Greens were hard and fast but true. Plenty of water and sand challenges with several forced carries off the tee. Overall a nice layout. About 3:45 for time on the round which was fine.
Fantastic day!
Have played here several times...always a great experience!!
Course is in immaculate condition!! Paired up with good people making it that much more enjoyable.
Beautiful course, friendly helpful staff.
Can't think of a better way to spend the 4th of July - great weather and a fun challenging course.
Bueatiful unique course.
Beautiful 18 hole course. It's a shorter course, but certainly still challenging with a great variety of unique and picturesque holes. The greens were 90% playable (some brown/dead edges) and mowed for about a 10.5 on the stimpmeter which allowed for genuine roll without being ridiculously fast. Yardage marked with 200/150/100 posts along the fairways, colored circles on the cart path, and fnt/cnt/bck on many sprinkler heads. Tee boxes were nicely maintained and level. Fairways were manicured and gave some roll. Avoid the bunkers because your lie will be difficult to judge. Walking the course involves significant elevation changes but most holes provide a short distance from green to the next tee box.
