Busy Saturday
Played on a Saturday afternoon, fist time visiting. GolfNow deal made it really good value.
The starter was friendly and kept everyone informed of the groupings to get in the first tee.
Pace of play was quite slow, it took 4h55min to play the course, but given the time of the week, it was to be expected.
The course was in good condition, the greens were rolling quickly, a lot of them are quite small, so shot accuracy is rewarded on your approach shots.
The course had some great holes, the par 5, 16th hole really stood out, but there are quite a few nicely designed holes with some clever elevation changes on the course.
I got paired with a local guy and followed his shot direction which played to the camber and shape of the holes a lot. That said, I will be back, as course management is needed to get those scores low and I’ll know it a little more on where to hit it next time!
It was overall a great days golf, for a reasonable green fee.
Walking fees
I don't appreciate how Golf now doesn't honor walkers. I would love to book more tea ties, but I am not a person that uses the golf cart
Great course, empty store
I brought my customers here and they loved the course. We arrived a little early to do some shopping, but the club house store had almost nothing. They might have been in the middle of stocking, but I could not tell. Also, there are no resident discounts. I will come back.
La Mirada
Very enjoyable course except for the glacial
exasperating pace of play. The course has a Marshall or “public assistant” but I think he’s way to nice to tell the slow players to pick it up
Pace of play is so slow
This is my first time to play this course.
It took almost 6 hours to play 18 holes.
The bunker is bad no sand at all.
The green is small but fair way is pretty good condition.
Terrible attitude for starter
I never ever seen such a rude starter in my life.
He made a mistake for assigned cart for us. He switched group behind us. During explain by my wife he denied his mistake and yield to us. We finally got mad each other and he keep showed his rudeness. It's ridiculous and can't accept this kind of service.
Over booked. Over crowded
The starter bumped us because our fourth was in the rest room. Regardless we were 5 min from our start time. They let another group ahead of us and turns out they shuttled there 4th player to the 2nd hole. They weren’t ready, but yet still made it ahead of us.
