Air rated greens was not notified prior to making teatime. And pins were in front of the green and was not notified of the condition they were doing.

Our group had a 7:30 AM tee time for the back nine this past Saturday. Due to the course being backed up, we did not actually tee off until about 7:50 AM. The pace of play was extremely slow because every group ahead of us was waiting, and it ultimately took us approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete nine holes. We were simply playing at the pace of the course and waiting for the group ahead of us on every hole.

However, the most concerning part of the experience involved an employee by the name of Ray, who works at the front desk of the golf shop and was playing directly behind us.

While we were sitting in the fairway waiting for the group ahead of us to clear the hole, a ball struck our golf cart. When we approached Ray about the situation, instead of apologizing, he claimed he “didn’t see us” and then accused us of playing too slowly. Given that we were clearly visible and waiting for the group ahead to finish the hole, it is obvious that he hit the ball intentionally toward us.

His behavior escalated from there. He continued to run his mouth and even made inappropriate remarks to the father and daughter playing in our group, saying that her daughter shouldn’t even be playing and implying it looked like her first time on the course. This was completely disrespectful and uncalled for.

He also continued to mock us by calling the clubhouse to find out our names and then sarcastically shouting things like “good shot,” while referencing us by name.

What is most shocking is that this individual is an employee representing your facility. It is unacceptable that an employee would behave this way toward paying customers, especially during a busy Saturday morning. At one point, he even attempted to threaten us by saying his father is a Mongol.

We reported the incident to the manager on duty and were told that there have been several complaints about this employee in the past. If that is the case, it raises serious concerns about why this behavior has been allowed to continue.

Will never return to this facility

I only played 9 holes out of 18 due to pace. Great course conditions. There needs to be a Marshall on Hole 3 and 9.

All good except the pace of play was extremely slow. No Marshall or ambassadors at the course to keep the flow going. The group in front of us having money bet so it made them extra slow. If this issue is addressed, it would have been a nice

course to spend a day at the course

If you’re a golf course allows there to be a junior golf tournament that’s supposed to tee off at a certain time. Why would you overbook the time before that? There was a 40 minute delay. That’s not a typo. La Mirada shouldn’t apologize to the kids.
