Pelham Bay at Pelham/Split Rock Golf Course

We had 10.03 tee time we didn’t get a golf cart until 10.20. Then we had to wait 15 more minutes on the tee box and had to wait the some time for every hole. It was a shame because the course was in great shape.

$3.00 to park. No cart access to your car with carts. Poorly non marked or limited marked fairway distance markers. No water to drink. Multiple downed trees some in Playing areas . Very high course cost in relation to the course condition. Almost all bunkers had multiple untracked foot prints .

Saw mixed reviews so concerned going in but great group of guys and as we went out first, finished the round in 4 hours so perfect. The guy in charge of parking was also super friendly.Course was in great condition. Definitely playing again.

I really like this golf course layout ecause it's pretty challenging. Just be prepared for mosquitoes on the eighth and 14th holes. Other than that have a great time, it's worth it.

Do not come here. Atrocious pace of play, undfriendly in the shop, at the bar, and the dude that handles carts. The whole course not only the greens is in terrible condition. Tee boxes are sand. Greens have divots everywhere and are also sand. So many bugs it’s really unplayable. Do not come here under any circumstances if you want a good golf experience. This place sucks.

Way too many mosquitoes for the round to be enjoyable. Make sure to bring a lot of bug spray if you want to play here. Not worth it for the price. We won't be coming back

The pace of play is very slow, seems they overbook. Expensive for what they are offering $90 is too high of a price, better courses nearby at $70. Bring mosquito repellent as you will need some; interesting part is they sell it instead of offering it for free considering everyone complains about it. Staff is friendly but need to be less lenient with pace. Organization is missing from a booking perspective. A round of 18 took us 5.5 hours.

The round took 5.5 hours as they overbooked. It took us 45 minutes to tee off on 1 and we were stuck behind 4 other groups all day. They also promised to have a rental set for my wife but they didn't have one when we showed up which was less than ideal.

Round was fine $60 holiday weekend twilight with a cart I’ll take it. In this heat and humidity there needs to be a halfway house open or a cart girl on split rock. What gives ???? There are 3 elderly gents sitting there as “starters” not doing a thing, yet the snack bar is closed. No cart girl and 1 water container on the 1st hole. Thanks but no thanks. Sort it out.
