Winter golf 10/10
Played here on Presidents Day with my brother and father. Course was well kept and the greens were maintained well for off-season. If you are looking to get out and play during the off season this is the place to be.
One of the best in NYC
We played a round in a warm February day, can’t complain about that. Van Cortland is a fantastic layout and has stood the test of time. It’s a great value in the NYC area. Course was in good shape.

Perimeter needs ckeanup.
Greens are excellent. Reception and starter are efficient.
Fairways and bunkers were in expected and acceptable compromised condition for February.
THE GREENS ,CHALLENGING TO READ ,WERE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND CONTRIBUTED TO A VERY ENJOYABLE ROUND.

Loved this course!
Had a great time golfing mid-Feb. Amazing conditions considering it is middle of winter. Will plan to come a lot during the summer, some great challenging holes and some fun easier holes to balance the course.
Great Golf Day !
We played a Friday afternoon at 2PM, got in 16 holes before darkness, weather was 50's course was in great shape for February ! $30 bucks,$10 for cart ! It was a great afternoon!
It's a fine layout but the staff is not very friendly and the conditions were pretty bad. To be fair it was February, but nonetheless the prices were way too high for the time of year, the course conditions, and the pace of play.
Good winter golf destination
Not the best kept course, but not the worst either. Very decent for $60 with cart for someone who does not live in NYC. Could do worse.

The course does not drain well so cart path only, and some soggy fairways, tee boes , greens were ok. The players need to fix ball marks
