It's nice to on a decent day in February
There aren't many courses open
Nice March Golf
Frost delay pushed us out an hour, we still made it in 4 3/4 hours, which wasn't too bad. Halfway house was open, It was a fun round for my first this year.
Good course and plenty of space
this course is great - early in the season the half way house is closed but its always a great find in summer.

Course was cart path only but in excellent shape
Even hole # 11 which was dry
Greens were fast and true
Chris and the team did Excellent job getting the course ready for play after large snow melt

3 Hours, 9 Holes. A NYC Golf Story
Slowest play of my life and rangers weren’t doing a thing about it.
Could be great
The course really is not that bad. It’s unfortunate that the staff the amenities and the structure of how they schedule is terrible. Why do I have an available teatime at the same time a school is in a match for that just let me know there’s no available teatime why if I pay for a cart I have to pay for the passenger seat as well so it’s like I’m paying for two carts? And by all means, I can go on all day. I wouldn’t mind paying the price if everything else was good at the end of the day there’s way better courses for a cheaper price total
Decent NYC Classic
Decent track that caps out at 6200 yards from the back tees. Few memorable holes but otherwise straight fairway, tree lined course. Played this to knock it off my NYC course bucketlist. Was surprised with the positive greens conditions despite how much play this course sees. $88 for 18 + cart as a solo (which they pair you up with a random, no solo carts) is a bit steep but you’re paying for the history I guess
Tough Shape
Vanny is always a “well-loved” track, but the green and fairway conditions have gotten so terrible l can’t recommend this course at the $50+ price point they charge. I’ll be staying away for the foreseeable future.
Van Cortlandt Course Review
With a decent layout, this course is of fair values. The greens were even slower than I expected, but overall the course is a great practice for most of the clubs in bag.
