Excellent condition
For a city course the grass was in great shape.I can walk the 9 holes in under 2 hours on a weekday.The thick forest that appears on most perimeters force a straight shot which is a good thing..

Greens are being aerated and top dressed.
Course as usual was a fun play. The greens will be better when the top dressing and aeration is finished.

Work to be done.
Course in fair shape. Patchy fairways should get better as weather turns. Sand traps need work. Wasn’t advised that greens had been aerated. Made putting experience a nightmare. Understand that it needs to be done but they should advise golfers before they head out. The renderings of the scheduled overall development looks really good and should make playing even more of a cool destination. Also please advise golfers that the range is no longer available. Came prepared to warm up on range and was disappointed to hear that it was not available anymore.

Worth a visit
I’m far from a good golfer but so love the game. Mosholu was the first course I’ve ever played and they continue to improve each year. Aside from the knowledgeable and friendly staff the pace of play is relaxing and the golfers are polite and quick. I’ve played in many golf courses and would certainly recommend this course to any golfer from the novice to aspiring PGA player. It’s family friendly and a great escape right in the Bronx.

This is a great nine hole courses in the NYC area. A lot if work has been done to keep this course in great condition. Highly recommended

Great course
The course is very nice, well kept, I just wish they had more of a better pace for T-Times becuase at times you crabs into another person playing behind you. All in all the staff are amazing, the course is kept very clean and playable. I wish they had food to purchase, besides that they have an amazing area to practice your putting and also chipping. They have an amazing parking space. Also if you need shoes or gloves or even clubs they sell them.

Good practice course
For a public course it is pretty welll maintained and the staff is very nice.
