Never Again
Course in good shape, staff very friendly. Never play on a weekend unless you can endure a 6 hour round.I don’t even think I would play during the week because I wouldn’t want to risk the pace of play again.
Dyker
Carts and cart path are awful. Besides that fun course to play. Cool views and good layout. Good greens. Bunkers are a disaster though. Would play again if I’m coming through Brooklyn.
Good layout
A little muddy in spots. Heavy rain day before. Like different looks on holes.
Slow course, bad condition
Course very slow pace of play. Bunked are just rocks can’t play in them. Had first tee time in morning at 524, they still sent a group in front of us and when we asked to play through the person said he was a starter at the course on Sundays and we couldn’t play through them even with a twosome in carts vs them walking with 3.
Great greens, that’s it
Dyker Beach has a fun layout and could be a very fun track. The greens were in great condition, but can’t say the same for the rest of the course. This is a good 18 if you’re looking for a chill round and don’t want to tuck your shirt in.
Course layout
Overall a nice competitive course....,..long Par 4 and 5s....... picturesque scenes and nice views........only negative is needs some renovations. Cart path is awful and full of potholes and gravel....carts are old and slow and run down......needs some rehab.
Garbage
What was once lovingly cared for by local legends and staff is now garbage. The greens are the only thing acceptable. Tee boxes are below average. Sand traps are void of any sand on every hole. All fairways are rock hard with no real grass and hitting in the middle of the fairway means nothing. It’s a shame that this once beautiful course is now nothing but a waste of money. Lastly- I grew up two blocks away and have played it at least 500 times from 1980 until now. This is a disgrace.
Bad conditions
Can’t even hit out of sand traps - No sand
Other public courses are much better shape LaTourette, Silver Lake etc
Discourse was in great shape 10 years ago
Overall good condition
For the amount of use the course gets, a big attaboy for the staff who keep it as good as shape as can be expected. Some fairways were scorched due to the lack of rain lately but oh well.
Pace of play was moving adequate. The greens were in great shape also.
Round took 4:15 which isn’t bad for Dyker.
Shot my personal best of 88 👍
Robbery of an $80 round
Can’t believe i paid to play here again. i know it’s a city course, but this was flat out insulting. the condition of the course is absolutely atrocious.
they were 10 mins behind at 10 AM, and by the time we finished our round there were about 25 guys waiting to tee off, 50 mins behind schedule.
Book less tee times or charge less for this course that literally doesn’t have fairways
Course Conditions
Car paths in gross state of disrepair. Pothole avoidance necessary on every hole.
Bunkers not maintained at all. Unplayable.
Golf carts are also in a state of disrepair and filthy.
Fairways and greens very well maintained.

THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE. BASOURA. SKATA. THEY SPRAYPAINTED THE GREENS TO LOOK GOOD!!!!!!
