Course Aerated Week of 4/3
Course aerated week of 4/3 with the larger holes and plenty of sand on top. Should be looking good in a couple weeks. Fairways are patchy but mostly grass. Bunkers are in rough shape.
Greens Aerated 4/3 and 4/4
Greens were aerated (punched with holes and sandy) on 4/3 and 4/4. Fairways were patchy but had grass which was better than the past summer. Should be better in a couple weeks!

Don’t hit it in the bunkers
Booked Golfnow time same day and got the round for 27 with cart… greens in great shape and super fast… hardly any ball marks…. But don’t hit in the bunkers only pros can hit it out of those
Great Staff but Bad Value
The staff who work here are great. I've played here many times but they do not lower prices in the winter months. It's still $81 to play on a Sunday morning but the course is not in good condition (obviously, because it's February). It's a really bad value from a monetary standpoint and not worth it. During the Summer months, the course is well maintained for a muni but the average time to finish 18 is 5+ hours. So either it's bad course conditions or a very slow pace.
Dycker beach
It was a decent course… pros- good overall pace, I had an early tee time so we didn’t have to wait long. You don’t lose your ball easily. Lost only 1 all day
Cons- no fairways to be found, I hit my drives pretty straight and all the grass looks the same from rough to fairway. Bunkers are like cement haven’t been raked in years.

Don’t hit it into the bunkers
The bunkers are death traps. Make sure to leave a trail of gumdrops so the police can find you later in case you get lost!!! My only other complaint is the traffic leaving brooklyn to get home “outside the borough of brooklyn” is very very sucky…. Oh yeah can only buy drinks at pro shop so bring some before you come

Greens were great, but everything else is below average.
Good shape for a well used Muni
I think I got a good day to play.
Weather was not looking great and there were a lot of tee times open in the morning under threatening rain. Had a 9AM tee time and was sent right out at 830 solo. A foursome was in front of me about three holes. Tees boxes were in surprisingly good shape. Fairways were a little beat up but overall not bad. Nice wide forgiving fairways. The greens were in excellent shape and well maintained. But like most NYC muni courses, the bunkers leave a little to be desired.
Beautiful setup of all 18 holes.
Played the round in 3 1/2 hours which was great only because it wasn’t crowded.
Definitely will be playing here again.
Needs Some TLC
Course just needs some care…
So many leafs on the fairways that it’s hard to find the ball. The rough is worse!
The bunkers look like they haven’t been racked in Months!
Was a great public course
Solid public course and glad a great time playing. For what it is was surprised at how it’s maintained compared to the reviews I saw prior. Had a great time.
Overrated
Hitting off grass seed or just straight up dirt. N the sand traps r not sand. Try concrete. DO NOT HIT OUT OF TRAPS!!
Carts are all broken down. Do urself a favor, travel to Staten Island or dirty jersey for a good round, especially for the price.
slow slow slow
after 5 hours plus our foursome wasn"t even on the 16 hole with 2 other groups ahead of us on 16 spacing of the groups is horrendous..
