The Dunes At Maui Lani Golf Course

Course was in great shape except they had sanded half the greens making putting not a pleasant experience no warning they were doing this. Otherwise course in great shape

We played the course 2 times. Sunday the greens of the course were very to slow maybe the weekend nobody works on the course. Monday the course was ok, the greens were cut.

It is a beautiful golf course but very difficult to putt!

The staff and course conditions were excellent. The layout is beautiful but challenging. “Dunes” is appropriate. You better be good at getting out of the sand because there is a ton of it. In many cases they are deep and over your head. All in all, I would play it again but lower my scoring expectations. Only bad thing was our cart. Wasn’t sure it would make it through the round. When you would step on the gas, there would be a substantial delay before it would start and if you were on a hill, it would roll backwards for a while before it would start. Dangerous, especially if there was another person/cart behind you.

We loved the course. It is beautiful and well kept. The staff in the pro shop were very friendly as was the starter. Was disappointed they didn't have any gatorade but other than that it was a great day!

The course was in great shape, as usual, with only one green on the back nine that wasn’t ideal. Otherwise, greens, fairways & really everything is in fabulous condition! In spite of playing on a busy Sunday, the pace of play was quite good - with our 3-some finishing in 4hr & 20min. Maui Lani is a very interesting, challenging course – more suited for better golfers than high handicappers and the occasional golfing tourist. There are many blind approach shots to greens, many long, steeply sloped, uphill holes, and the greens themselves are difficult with both slope and plenty of undulation. It’s a fantastic course for golfers with a 15 handicap or less, but could possibly be too challenging, or even frustrating for most amateur golfers. The Dunes are lways worth it for the overall experience, and the unique views of the Iao Valley in the background!.

This course was better than expected. Upon arrival the starter greeted us and assigned our cart; we loaded our own bags and were directed to the practice area and told we would get out as soon as we were able. The pro shop is small but had some nice items and some good deals as well. We were informed right away that there was no Beverage cart service out on the course and although this is a negative to this particular location we were at least prepared. Once on the course the conditions were very good, nice greens fairways were nicely kept. There were a few holes max 4 that had some damage to the greens but you could tell the. Superintendent tried to put hole locations away from damaged areas. The layout for the course offered some high risk high reward options from the tee which made it fun to try and “go for it” the value was great if you purchase a HOT rate at 89.99 and honestly I’d pay 100 to play here again.

Great course, with good staff, in very nice condition; limited practice facility and no Bev cart give it a 3.8 for me.

We enjoyed a beautiful game of golf. We are not long hitters but enjoy the game. The course was difficult for us but we had a wonderful day

Completely a hidden gem. Beautiful, well maintained and definitely a challenging track, go play it and save a few bucks.....well worth it!

Wow what an amazing course. I played several others on the Island that were much more expensive and higher rated, but this one beats them by a mile. Very challenging. But incredible course. Pace was very fast.
