The Dunes At Maui Lani Golf Course

Overall this is an interesting course with lots of elevation changes and many holes that require strategic shot selection. Fairways are in good condition, greens are in excellent condition and very consistent. A great value and we finished in 4 hours! Will definitely be back.

I was on vacation in Maui and brought my sticks with me. Asking around and doing some research, this course definitely is affordable for the average cost of golfing on the island, the course layout was pretty fun with amazing views on both the front and back 9, and the course conditions was in good shape. The golf carts are in good condition as well!

You get a free yardage book and helps with choosing the right club along with your rangefinder. Staff was very friendly and really enjoyed my time here. Would definitely recommend golfing here if visiting. Also, the restaurant was very nice with an amazing view of 18th hole.

I'm visiting and wanted to golf a few times on Maui and this was a course recommended by a friend. I got a great set of rentals and was partnered with a friendly and enjoyable local partner. The course was beautifully maintained and the weather was perfect - sunny, low 80s and no wind! I couldn't have asked for a better day of golf and plan to return when I visit again in the future. Played 8 holes today. My pregnant wife was riding with me and started to feel a little under the weather. She wanted to leave so we headed in. When I turned in the cart, I told the pro shop what happened and asked if I could get a rain check for 9 holes. The guy at the pro shop said “you knew your wife was pregnant when you came out so we can’t give you any refund or rain check.” I was taken aback. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Every other course I’ve played on Maui has been wonderful. I will be avoiding the Dunes for the foreseeable future and encourage others to take their business elsewhere.

Pace of play was okay. Staff was okay. Golf cart was not okay. Restaurant was good. Practice facility was very good. Course layout was okay, a lot of blind tee shots. The Nene geese on the course were cute. Over all it was okay.

No dunes here but certainly a pretty good course with some "entertaing" holes. Greens are in good shape and the fairways are better than they were last year. Some bunkers need more sand. It would be good to play it more than once as there are many holes that are blind second and even first shots and require management. No bombs away on quite a few holes.

The Dunes is easily one of my favorite courses to play on Maui. It's one of the rare reasonably priced courses to play in Hawaii. The offer multi game passes to help save some money on your green fees. Call the course directly to purchase the passes. The course was in fantastic shape, with excellent greens and overall course maintenance. Friendly staff and new golf carts make the outing very enjoyable. Every hole is a unique challenge with sometimes drastic elevation changes(up and down)to keep you on your toes. Highly encourage you to play here while you're on Maui. This is a course I would be a member of if I lived there.

It’s clear that the course is making some changes. My 18 birdies app did not line up with the course layout and there were some areas tore up. Nice course though!!

If you like target golf, this course is for you. Blind tee shots, small elevated greens and narrow sloping fairways. Length is not an issue on this course. Miss the fairway and you may not find your ball on some of the holes. Nice elevation changes. Will play again!

Course very challenging with the wind but was manageable. Had a great time will come back next year when we make our yearly visit to Maui.
