Designed by Robin Nelson, The Dunes at Maui Lani is immaculately maintained and brilliantly laid out. It is a tribute to the great links courses of Ireland that more than one golf writer has described as a "British Open course on Maui." Stunning dunes dot the terrain at every corner, challenging the golfer at every hole.

In addition to 18 holes of championship golf, The Dunes offers the only lighted practice range in central Maui, with grass tees, fairway and green-side bunkers and a pitching and putting green, plus an air-conditioned pavilion. Also, when not on the golf course, golfers can enjoy a four-star meal at Cafe O'Lei at The Dunes.

Underrated course.

Very nice course. Greens and fairways well tended. Interesting layout which adds to the pleasure of play. We got out right after a tournament so we were able to play fast so I’m not sure of a normal pace of play. I will definitely come back.

Bring your A game to the Dunes!

The was our first time playing The Dunes and we will definitely play it again. It was very challenging from the Green tees especially with the wind. One of the best values on the island.

Now my favorite course on Maui

Played here on a recommendation from a friend. I have played the Wailea courses, the Kaanapali courses and the Kampala courses. This course was fun for a reasonable price. In great shape.

Except for the Plantation course ( which is too expensive in my opinion) this is Maui’s best.

Course in very good shape. Played on a Sunday,, miday and was very slow. 4:45 round, really unusual for this course. No beverage cart on the course.

Tough, but fun course, especially with the wind in the afternoon, but greens were in pristine shape. Will play again!

Great time. Greens good

Went off at 949 as first group after 1/2 course charity shotgun. Played with a local. Greens were in great shape though a little slower (according to local). Reasonable price.

Not an ocean course so that was Only downside.

Enjoyed our day immensely and didn’t catch shotgun until 14th hole. Finished in under 4hours easily.
