Played yesterday with 3 friends. Course was in fantastic condition - a credit to the greens staff. Have played the 3 Gleneagles courses but I think I prefer Auchterarder!
Each hole unique but especially loved the quirky par 3s!
All staff encountered were extremely friendly.
Can't wait to go back!! Would highly recommend.
4 Ball at Auchterarder
We played the course the day after playing Trump Turnberry at Aberdeen. We were made very welcome by the club and the course was in great condition. It’s a challenging course with 6 par 3s, all varying degree of difficulty. It’s tight so you are in close proximity with fellow golfers who were all friendly. Outstanding value for money.
A little gem
A well kept course situated in a beautiful setting. Not a long course with 6 par 3s which offers plenty of opportunities for success and unbridled optimism!
We enjoyed playing Pitlochry gold course, very hilly and challenging, I would book a buggy next time. However it’s superb scenery is fantastic and the food in the clubhouse was good value and well presented, well done team Pitlochry .
Auchterarder in April
Great course not long but some memorable holes, course in good order for early season,. Parkland course with some challenging drives, selection of nice par 3’s. Pace of play was slow but this was because I was out as a single, will definitely return
A Brilliant and Beautiful Course
I can’t rate this course highly enough. The setting is magnificent, the holes are varied and interesting and were in superb condition. I had played next door a few weeks ago and Auchterarder is much better imo.
Really enjoyed this course. It was very well laid out with really interesting holes. The greens were in excellent condition. It was an absolute joy to play here and I’ll be back very soon. Can’t praise it enough, top class.
A must play
Great set up, welcoming staff - even got the weather - in March !
Unfortunately the entire course was on winter greens the day we played. This was despite the weather being good, no frost or rain, and no obvious reason for the greens being off. Very disappointing. Checked the club website before travelling but no mention of winter greens. Course layout is very good so would definitely play again in summer but would avoid in winter.
We weren’t informed at morning of booking by course or golf now that it was winter greens. Winter tees and course so short we went round in 2 hours. We tried to get golf now on phone but rings once and cuts off to see if course was open but they just bury their heads as soon as they get money
This course is a gem hidden from view of most. Invest in a few hours golf in auchterarder - you won’t be disappointed
Well kept course, it was very playable even after all the rain we had.
