St. Germain Municipal Golf Club

This is a beautiful course. It is in great shape from 1-18. The greens are superb and challenging .

Good layout, great condition and good value in a beautiful area of northern Wisconsin. Loved the layout as well as the challenge of this beautiful and fun course. I started so early that I kept running into the lawnmower on the greens which was a little distracting when he wouldn't wait for me to go through. Great course and staff otherwise.

One of my favorites in state. Always in excellent condition. Great staff. Wild life on almost every hole. Your group will seem as if your the only ones out on the course.

I've played 119 golf courses so far, and this one is my favorite. Need I say more?

This is a challenging fun course that deserves more play but their standard price is a little stiff. Thank you, Golfnow.

Played in the rain on a Monday. Course and staff very good. Good value but no windshields on carts made for a long day in rain.

Course it a great course. The fairways and greens are very nice. The greens are a little slow but they are in great shape. The food is only open after 4pm so don't count on eating, but other than that it is worth the money.

Overall, a great course. Play was extremely slow - due to a scramble - but could have been improved upon by the ranger. Saw the ranger twice and nothing appeared to be done to improve the pace of play.

The bar or restaurant were not open. I am not sure why.

I definitely recommend this course. Staff is great! Facilities are great!

Got rained out on Saturday and arranged to play on Sunday afternoon. Very few people playing so was able to complete the 18 hole round in a little over three hours. Course was in great shape and is one of the best in the area.

We had a great time, only lost a few balls. The rough was cut so you could hit and find you balls easily.
We would like to play it again.

The course is in beautiful condition. It is challenging yet fair. Staff very friendly. I Highly recommend playing it.

This course was amazing. It is cut right through the woods. The fairways are tight so you have to play it straight, I don't so I lost a few balls. And there's plenty of water hazards too. It was a fun challenging course that I would play again. I found an awesome deal on golfnow that I couldn't pass up. Bring plenty of extra balls because the fairways are tight and the woods are thick. Overall a great experience. The views were spectacular.

I banned thisd course 3 years ago because they charged my wife & I $33.00 for my 12 year old daughter to ride with us while she read a book. I thought it was pathetic but they said they charge by a per butt policy. I decided to give this course another shot because I have always like the layout & thought maybe things have changed. We had a 3:20p tee time & found that they overbooked & we ended up starting around 3:50. the starter was nice about it & off we went. By the 9th hole one of carts went dead which was not great & by the time we got to the 18th, they made us get off the course early & they had a wedding event there & we were not allowed in to go to the bathroom. This is just a municiple course & we were not treated well. There have been other instances in the past as well. Timber Ridge & Trout Lake are just as nice courses & they will treat you a lot better.

You must be straight with your drives.....if not you will have some big numbers and loose many balls. Course was in great shape with greens that putted very true.

I was on vacation and the only one that wanted to play golf. Found a deal for $23 on Golfnow and booked it. They let me go off a little early so I wouldn't get stuck behind a few larger groups. Course is very pretty. I also played Trout Lake which was good but nothing compared to St. Germain. If I get the chance to go back I will play again for sure.

Very challenging but fair course. Tight fairways, cut out of woods, so bring plenty of balls. Beautiful northwoods setting. Compares favorably with both Trout Lake and Eagle River.

I really enjoyed this course! It is set in the woods of st. Germain. Being set in a wooded area, driving accuracy is at a premium on many holes. I found the course to have a nice variety of holes....highly recommended if you are in the area!
