Course is in great shape
Quincy Golf Club is one of the best courses in our area. And with the Hot Deals it is the best value. A quick 25 minute drive from Tallahassee.
Nice
Love to play the course every chance I get back to Tallahassee. Greens are soft like always, slow greens as always, fairways are decent, and play is fast.
Skip For Now
Wow! What a difference 3 months make. I played this course in January and was impressed with the condition of the course and the greens but the greens now clearly have not been punched in a very long time nor have they been rolled or cut. The grass is pretty long on the greens so putting was unbelievably slow and the holes have not been moved in many weeks. Holes were overgrown and one was actually worn out from wear. Our group had putts actually roll away from the hole because they were so hairy. How hard is it to move the holes once a week? Very disappointing.
Too much up and down hills
Majority of holes go up and down steep hills resulting in many blind second shots unless you are a long hitter. Greens pristine but slow
Love this APP
I love this app! I use it more than any other app on my phone....and it has saved me tons of time....and MONEY!
I do wish more courses in my area used it but that is probably not something that can be controlled by the App developer.
...Now if you could just figure out a way for the app to give me on course lessons to improve my scores..... ;-)
Hidden gem. Challenging layout, however fine for less skilled players as well. The greens are immaculate and roll true some of best I have ever played. Serene layout with abundant wildlife. The changes in elevation, abundant trees and minimal homes abutting the course is a welcome change from the south Florida courses I played before retiring to Tallahassee. The experience from pace of play to interaction with friendly staff from maintenance workers on the course to those in the clubhouse is laid back and casual. The Mon.- Fri. buffet is delicious and enjoyed by players as well as folks that drive in from town to enjoy. In addition, they have menu items and be sure to ask for daily specials. I love this place!
The Best It's Ever Been
The greens were the best I have ever seen them. Typically 2 or 3 greens are in mediocre condition (especially hole #4) but right now all greens are impeccable with no blemishes or problems. It's a very short drive from Tallahassee. If you haven't played there you need to. It's a fun course that has many elevation changes and some very challenging holes.
Fun and challenging course
This course was challenging and an interesting layout. You had to think about every shot you took. It is well worth the drive from Tallahassee. Also, there were a fair amount of albino squirrels on the course, which I have never seen before.
Great off the path course
This course is actually pretty challenging. Lots of undulations and unexpected hazards. Great place to play.
Awesome for the Price
Good course with a fun layout. Lots of hills and elevation changes to keep things interesting. Greens were in great shape and rolling true. Excellent value if you are willing to take the short drive.
Quincy golf
Great course and lay out. Fairways and greens and good...they are putting new sand in the traps and it's very white..love it...after morning play you must stay for the buffet lunch...
Amazingly Beautiful Course!!
This course is simply stunning, by far the most beautiful course I've played. It's set in the forested hills of NW Florida where the flora and fauna are clearly abundant. The sometimes drastic elevation changes not only enhance the beauty of this course, they also create difficult shots and make it hard to judge distances. The greens were in fantastic shape and many were surrounded by well manicured bunkers. The fairways are typically wide and fairly forgiving, but they are quite firm making for tight lies. The value you receive at this course is astonishing. I can't wait to go back!!
Perfect Morning, beautiful course!
I stumble upon this coarse while searching for a Hot Deal. This course was an awesome value and I literally had the place to myself. The course was fun and challenging +4 stars for sure. The greens were a little slow but exceptional.
A very pretty location, no frills clubhouse, and felt like I was in another world.
I look forward to returning someday soon. I shot a +11, my handicap having never played the course.

Hidden Gem
Since course changed ownership and management a while back, absolutely dramatic improvement. I have played course numerous times over the years (25+), but there has been a recent tremendous improvement in the overall quality. Newer carts and lush fairways. The most notable improvement has been in the quality of the greens. All roll great with predictability. I remember prior to the current management, lots of bald places - particularly with hole #3, but all in great shape now. Has to be the hilliest golf course in Florida. Strongly recommend you give it a try!
Nice green
Would play again nice country course
Awesome course a short drive from Tally!
I am normally not the type of person to take the time to write reviews, but this course warrants a review. For a course that is a bit off the beaten path you would not assume much more than a good value round. That was not the case here. The greens were some of the best I've played on in the area, and I have played on them all. The layout not too challenging but provided great elevation changes and allowed me to pull just about every club in the bag at one point or another. The fairways were well maintained as well, with a clear advantage to those who can keep out of the first cut and rough. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My brother and I even stopped in for a beer after which was only $2.00. I have paid $6.00 at some courses. I was impressed with everything this course had to offer and will be back very soon. Worth the 40 min drive.
Always a great experience
I make the 40 min drive from Tallahassee to escape all the noise of the city. Quincy offers that peace and escape from everyday grind, with its (abnormal for the area) elevation that brings a bit of challenge to playing the fairways from approach to green. The greens played a little hairy however that allowed me stick a few approach shots close. It just make take a little time getting your putting distances. I will return to this course again.

Played Sunday on Father's Day 6/19/2016. Took father-in-law for his first time at Quincy, played decent. Course was in pretty good condition. Greens need to be verticute badly

Went back out on 6/2. Greens were in horrible condition. It looked as if someone had problems with the mower so many areas of greens were cut too low and the grass was brown/yellow in those areas. Also, once again the holes had not been moved in months. Someone please save this gem of a country course.
