The Golf Club of Quincy

Pleasant as always played behind a very slow foursome that never gave me the opportunity to play through as I was playing by myself.

Thought that was pretty inconsiderate, still a good round.

The course has good variations with dog legs, water, elevations, slopes and a bit of length off the back markers.

The guy in the pro shop was so rude to me that I feel the need to write a review. I golf a lot and I know you should obviously show up on time for your tee time. This is probably the first time I’ve showed up late because normally I like to warmup etc. I was 5 minutes late and the man in the pro shop proceeds to tell me that I should just come back tomorrow in a super rude / sarcastic way. Then to my amazement basically says something along the lines of “because we don’t even make money when you book online and now I’m going to have to send another cart out just for you.” Then proceeds treating me poorly and continues talking to me in a very condescending way almost like he thought I had never been to a golf course before. It was absolutely ridiculous. I have never left any reviews for anything. The course is fun but this ruined my whole day from the start. I came in a very apologizing demeanor from the start explaining I understand I’m late and that whenever you can get me off If possible would be appreciated as I know I am late. (The course was neat empty and he gave me this hassle)

players moved , greens in good shape, all different speeds. Sands needs work, but rough cut low. Over all great day, great course for the money.

I liked this course in many ways. Challenging, but playable by the average golfer. The only issue i have was the length of the first cut off the fairways. Playing alone i hit a few balls that hit the fairway and rolled off into the first cut that i could not find. With the many hills and gullies it does not seem necessary to have such deep rough next to the fairways to make it a challenge.

Bermuda greens, Bermuda fairways, well manicured. Pace of play was very fast until the high schoolers showed up to play a match; everyone else had to go to the back nine. I had the course to myself prior to that.

Nice elevation changes to this track, atypical for most Florida courses. I recommend this course.

The layout of the course has been what has drawn my fiance and me back on multiple occasions. However, the man behind the counter has always been rude everytime we go in. Even going so far as to tell me I did not have a t-time (which I proved to him I did via email), getting an attitude with us for using Golf Now (as he was charging my credit card for the round), just to name a few. The last round will be our last, and not just because of the rudeness, but because we always show up early. Not one group teed off or was heading to the tee so we headed up to tee off. My fiancee teed off and the manager came riding up and yelled at us for teeing off early (15 minutes). We drove back to the clubhouse and sat for 15 minutes while not one golfer went off. Then 2 minutes before our t-time a 4-some teed off and we were stuck behind them ALL day. The group behind us (2) also had an issue with the manager not letting people go early to keep the pace of the course moving. I spent WAY too much money to be treated like that and I gave this course way too many chances. There are much better and nicer places to go than Quincy.

Best condition in years.. Will recommend to my golfing friends. Great lunch buffet every day.

excellent price for a good course laid out with enough difficulty and enough easyholes to make it fun!

We had just had a drenching rain but the course was in real good shape as long as you stayed in the fairway. There were a lot of really soggy areas in the rough but that was expected. Love the layout of this course and the many hazards that must be negotiated.

This course is a hidden gem. Ricky and his crew do a great job keeping it in shape. Layout is both fun and challenging. Sevveral of the t-boxes could stand some leveling. Occasionally, they allow fivesomes sixsomes and even eightsomes to play together which can be a little disconcerting. Overall, great value.
