About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Fairways in rough shape still from the wjnter
The course seemed to be worse than when we played last month. I think it's still a great course, a bit pricey for the condition right now, but kudos for having complimentary range balls!

Good course, iffy conditions
This is a great course but the frost from the spring has gotten to a lot of the fairways and tee boxes which is not end of world. Back 9 had standing water in some fairways when we haven’t really had much rain in last few days and most greens had fire ant problem with it really nasty on some. Overall a great course I’ve played many times but not in best shape right now

Course conditions
The course is in terrible condition. I have played there since its original opening and today I was extremely disappointed and cannot believe they are charging a full rate for the conditions of the course. Vast majority of the holes are marked cart path only and all areas are under distress.
We are CPO because we are laying pallets of sod everywhere. It is cart path only to make sure the sod does not die. Please come back soon for the 5-star experience you expect at The Bridges Golf Club.

Wide open
June 22 we had a leisurely 18. The greens are in great condition. Spots in the fairway are healing up so a few hole remain cart path only. The Bridges is a challenging 18 from the blue tees and there are plenty of seniors here so expect them to go slow. Bunkers play good. No cart service so BYOB.
Hi Kevin, thanks for the kind words on the green conditions and the nice leisurely experience you had. The pace of play that day was within four and half hours which falls under the acceptable category. Unfortunately, with only two players we were pretty booked so you were unable to fly around the golf course any quicker. BYOB is not permitted in accordance with TABC laws. The club offers a full bar and restaurant plus water coolers on the course. Thanks for supporting us while we work to recover the course from the winter weather. Come see us soon!

Weather got this course
Fairways on most holes were in sad condition. The snow and ice, and general wet weather in the area has hurt this course, like many others in the area.
Nonetheless, the GREENS were in great shape, which made the other issues more than tolerable.

Bad Fairways Worse Service
I’ve been here several times and it’s one of my favorite places to play for the pace of play alone. However, this time the fairways are in very poor shape, not sure if they lost some of them with the freeze or what but they were not good. The unfortunate part was the gentleman behind the counter. He was extremely short and rude. I was disappointed in a course I usually thoroughly enjoy playing.

Always going to play here
The course conditions were not the highest due to the frost. Tee boxes and fairways on the front and a few on the back we’re damaged badly. I will say next year they will cover the tee boxes so the grass will survive the frost. The greens were rolling perfect. No driving in the fairways was understandable, however instead of just saying the range is closed and cart path only try explaining to the customer why, we would understand. Have a great time playing with complete strangers. Played the blue tees, love this course will always return from Japan and play first on each trip

Battlefield
The course is in AWFUL condition. Only the greens were in good shape. The tee boxes and fairways looked like a war zone. I doubt I will return to this course
Course needs work
This can be an extremely nice golf course and has been in the past but not today. The greens were awesome, however, the rest of the course was in horrible condition for the most part. We were told, on the course, that the winter freeze caused the problems, but we haven't noticed that much damage at other courses in the area. We would have liked a heads up about the condition of the course before we shelled out 81 bucks to play it. We would have still played it for 40 or maybe 50, but not for 81 dollars. They should have discounted the round due to the condition of it.
Challenging course will test your skills
This is my favorite course in north Dallas area. Great conditions and greens. Tough layout that makes you concentrate on every shot. High handicappers should play the White tees and bring extra balls. Once you get on the course you feel like you are on your own without houses and other golfers around. Expect breezy conditions most of the time.

Started out bad ended well
First, let me say I have played this course numerous times with my son and we love it. The course is still recovering from the winter freeze but still enjoyable. What I didn’t enjoy were the four adult males behind my teenage son and I, who consistently yelled get your “black _ _ _ “ off the course. My son was blatantly distraught and upset. As a military veteran on Memorial Day weekend it hurt me that my fellow Americans would exhibit this behavior, especially to a boy. We did meet some great individuals, who reside in the neighborhood, that let us play with them. Playing with these gentlemen truly changed a negative experience to a positive. They were great Americans. This game teaches you about adversity and the correct way to handle it. I will continue to go back because the people at the course and in the neighborhood are top notch.

Hard Winter Crushes Another Course
The greens were in excellent condition. Pace of play was fine. However, the sub freezing temperatures of mid February have wrecked havoc. A number of fairways are dead. Will need to be entirely re-sodded. Same for a number of the tee boxes. Great track, great staff, great layout. Just need to bring the fairways and some tee boxes back to life…
