About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Played during a 2-3 club wind. Friendly off the tee. Greens very quick which I enjoy. Some greens with extreme undulation limiting pin positions. Nice to get out of the city and tee off while looking at some cattle grazing in the nearby fields. Worth the drive from DFW to check it out.

Off the beaten path
Enjoyed the course very much. Visit Dallas area every month so I have played a number of the public course around town. Loved the links style course and facilities. Very challenging. Remote location is a slight drawback, but I would highly recommend the course for those that enjoy a different type of course. Greens were phenomenal.

Love the openness of the course
I’ve played a few courses that are nowhere as forgiving as The Bridges. While there are some spots to lose a ball or two for the most part the openness of the course makes for a good day.
A TWELVESOME???
While on the range, an employee delivered balls and apologized for the delay, which it wasn't really necessary to apologize. He stated there was a delay because they had a twelvesome go out earlier. There was no starter. Later we heard other complaints about this twelvesome clogging up things (but hey, only 9 were actually golfing, we heard). This totally jacked up the entire flow. There is never a marshal on the course. Not sure why they allow this.
I did not actually witness this twelvesome, just reporting what the employee and other golfers stated, and I figure I can trust the employee. I do know that it was slow and the group 2 ahead seems to have at least 1 entire hole gap, but no marshal on site to encourage speedy play.
Overall, it was a nice day and our group is generally chill about such things, but they could use with some on course pace of play management.

Very nice!
First time playing and absolutely loved this course! Need to play a few times to know the hazards on a few holes (blind tee shots) but was still a fun challenge! Wider fairways on most holes so your not dead if you miss off the tee box! Greens were awesome, not too fast but fast, played very true! Staff was extremely nice, ended up talking for 20 minutes after the road in the pro shop, definitely be back! If I lived closer I would be looking at a membership but unfortunately it’s an hour drive for me…

Great golf course
Spectacular layout that keeps every type of golfer thinking about shot selection. This course was so much fun to play that I will surely play again! Scale of one to ten- ten being excellent, I would give it a ten! I loved it!!!!

Slow play is an epidemic! Course was outstanding!
Both times we have played this venue the course conditions were outstanding. This time the pace of play was very slow with the 3some in front spending an outrageous amount of time on the greens. This has become a problem lately at almost every course. Drinking on the course needs to stop!

Great track
Third time playing here and first time in windy conditions. Makes some holes play very long. Great layout through rolling farm land. Definitely room to miss but off the tee but some holes can leave you is some tricky spot if you’re not careful. Lots of bunkers and greens were smooth and very fast.
