Glen Annie Golf Club

Glenn Annie Golf Club is a beautiful course. It has views of the mountains and the ocean. The holes are interesting, but they are not unfair or tricky. My friends and I are high handicappers so we played the red white combo tees. But for better players, the back tees would turn this course into a true test of golf. Of course was in beautiful shape and the greens were fast but true.

Great course and even better staff members! Course was very busy but the pro shop and the starter worked everything out so that everyone would get out on time... I had a wonderful experience here. Greens were fast even after the punched them a few weeks ago. Will definitely be back to play again!

Its a nice course in good condition with some interesting holes but, it's a 5.5 hr round very slow

Glen Annie is a terrific course, it’s challenging but not overly difficult. If you can putt well you will crush the course and enjoy the view. Just be sure you tee off at a time before 9: am or you will be there for 6 hrs. The manager did all he could and the Marshall is a good guy., yet they all know they pack the course for the Money. That’s also why you can get a deal. We teed off at 11:56, hit our 2nd shot at 12:20. Finished hole 16 at 5:15. Then we left, 2 more holes and it would have been 5:45 maybe even six. The earliest the best.

This was my first time playing Glen Annie. I’ve always heard excellent things about the course I was really excited to try it for the first time. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, was looking forward to a nice 72° Santa Barbara day but instead ended up with a scorching 97° Santa Barbara day. Definitely enjoyed the course, which was in pretty good shape. The greens are interesting and I enjoyed the undulating fairways and greens. There are some hazards that require a little bit of course knowledge, which I will take advantage of next time I play. I will say upon reading some of the early reviews I was very disappointed with the staff demeanor. We booked our teatime on August 30. The course arbitrarily changed their green fees on the 31st. I don’t necessarily have a problem with the change in the green fees but the attitude of the staff was unacceptable. They had a very uncaring attitude. It was almost the approach of “the fees went up pay them or don’t, we don’t care. But if you want to pay you’re paying the increased rate.”. Considering the earlier reviews about how friendly the staff was, I guess those folks had the day off. I hope I get the opportunity to play the course again, maybe they’ll be some different folks working the desk with a better attitude.

Liked the challenge .Great layout of course plenty of elevation changes. Beautiful Greens , Big deep bunkers . Glad I stayed out of . Great Company , Weather and Staff. On my way back to mid 80s

My favorite course. Staff are amazing especially at the pro shop. Tee boxes, fairways, greens etc are pretty much perfect! love this place. I wish the carts had GPS.

Beautiful views and some crazy elevation-changing holes are present at GA golf course. Unfortunately, like many courses in Southern California, The maintenance money is spent on the greens and there has been no attention or addition of sand to the bunkers since the course was constructed. On some holes, if you hit your ball into the bunker you need to use the “hand wedge” to get your ball back into play. That being said, the views are spectacular!

Course was actually very well kept. Greens were slightly slow but very well maintained and manicured. Beautiful rolling hills and a view of the ocean. Pace was good. No issues with waiting to Tee off. Cart girl was awesome as well. I will definitely be going back. Met and played with some very patient and friendly locals by the names of Lawrence & Mike. They were a pleasure to play with.

Recently relocated to Santa Barbara and was on a quest for a “home” course. Although the course was not as long as I like, it was laid out incredibly well with plenty of challenges. The greens were soft but quick. The views were amazing and pace of play was good for a Tuesday. Still under COVID rules so the bunkers were a bit rough but playable. I will definitely return.

Course was challenging, awesome views and very courteous professional Staff!

Course was relatively wet in spots. But the layout was fun and tight. Not the easiest of courses out there.
