Hidden gem
This course was surprisingly nice green fairways. The greens were true. The layout was very competitive. Kinda reminds me of playing up north few rolling Hills blind shot. I’ll be back in the next couple of days. That’s how good this course was.
Fun course, in pretty good shape.
Fun course, pretty good shape. Employees friendly and nice. Kitchen not always open, like to have a bite after play. Would recommend 👌
Horrible Experiance
This 12 hole course is a joke. Our 4 some played 9 holes in 2 hours. The Marshall Manager or whatever came over and told us we were 2 holes behind and had o skip a hole because we were holding some ladies up. In what world and what course is 9 holes in 2 hours slow. He then threatened to throw us off the course. Poor management makes for a poor round. Save your $$ and play a real 18 hole course in Arcadia for just 20.00. Will not get our money again.
Paradise in Paradise
We booked thru golfnow and got a good rate. Course was fairly quiet. The conditions are typical April drought. Greens and even the fairways are dry and fast. But greens and fairways were nicely mowed and neatly kept.
As "the season" has ended, the teeing areas were a little choppy in places but just use your common sense and tee from a good spot. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. i wouldn't hesitate to play this course many more time this season and I recommend it to anyone who wants to play an old style "Florida" course without all the modern bells and whistles and manicured greens.
Nice course
I enjoy golfing at Paradise. Friendly staff. Nice layout. And a restaurant and bar for after round relaxation.
Hidden Gem-Give it a try!
Paradise is in great condition right now (April). Low key atmosphere, friendly staff and friendly players. The 12 hole round was just right for me to get my golf on but not get over-heated. Good pace of play and paired up with nice folks, both local and "snow birds" from Canada. Give Paradise a try!
Course has a nice layout and staff are super friendly
My wife and I love Paradise Golf Course whenever we’re visiting in the area. The staff is friendly and professional as well.We enjoy the course and the 12 hole layout, which is perfect amount for the wife,,18 holes tends to be too much for her sometimes. The course conditions are always up to par, greens roll nice, and it’s to to see a some of the small wildlife,,turtles, different types of cranes n birds. After our round of golf we usually enjoy a drink at the outside bar which has a nice atmosphere, and they have some delicious food items on their menu to enjoy as well.
Good but....
We like Paradise and go there frequently because the rates are reasonable and the people that work there are extremely nice. Problem this time was the pace of play. The players seemed to be moving in slow motion. They did not care about other people waiting and continuously stopped to chit-chat. Maybe someone should tell people that "pace of play" is something that all golfers observe and it makes the game pleasant for all.
