Peace and Quiet
2 of us played 18 holes in 2 hours. Not a soul on the course....just perfect.
Good option
My wife golfs here regularly. Greens and fairways have improved a great deal since last year. Plays narrow with little room for error. A good challenge for your short game.
Good executive course
Course was in very good shape. There were a couple wet places throughout the course, but overall in better condition than I was expecting. If heavy rains come through, would be cautious. Will definitely play again though.
Great course to work on your short game
Par 61, yet challenging, I have played this course 3 times now and like it more each time.
snow bird golfer
Never really play this kind of course ie short par 61executive style but in all aspects this is a very challenging track with tough par 4s carry over water well kept sand bunkers and FL nature all around A distinct difference between front and back nines The back nine was in better shape. I would playit againi
Nice Course
great course work on your short game. The course was a little wet but with all the rain in the area lately was to bad. It's a par 61 so my wife really liked it. The staff were very friendly and helpful we will differently play here again.
Course needs water
I have played this course when it looked like a country club. The front 9 Greens where terrible. You couldn’t even read a putt they where do bad. A lot of dead spots and the greens where very bumpy. The back 9 was a little better but they needed water and mowed and rolled. I probably won’t be playing there in the near future.
Interesting course layout
The Hamptons golf course was short ( par 61) but had lots of hazards which made it fun to play.
The Hamptons
This is a very nice Executive Course. I enjoyed playing this course. A great Course to Practice your Irons. Greens need help, But overall the Course is Very Nice.
Fun short course
A short course with 11 par 3's that vary in length from 100 - 200 yards an 7 par 4's that are all around 300 yards. Good variety for an executive style course. Lots of water in play. The greens are large and were mostly in good shape. The entire staff were very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was very fast.
Pleasant Executive course
We played from the back tees, at about 3500 yards, expecting an easy outing, but the course has several interesting holes that make it play harder than expected. Several holes have moderate carries over water of about 150 yards, many sand traps, and some narrow fairways that require precision. Driver can be used on some holes, but a layup might produce a lower score. Each hole has a water hazard of some sort. The greens were a bit bumpy due to a mix of winter and summer grass growing together (late March) but were in decent shape and reasonably fast. The fairways were good. We played in about 3 hours. In my opinion, the forward tees would turn the course into a pitch-n-putt, but the back tees make it a golf course, just smaller par 61.
Course was fairly well maintained, but the tees and greens need work tees beat up and greens need water & seed.
Good
Complaint: we had to wait for a tournament to finish before we could start our round then we were playing behind a father and 7 year old son and he was giving golf lessons on every hole.
Average course 2 practice irons
course was short but had a nice features to practice your iron game. longest Cub may be to hit would be your 5 wood at most off some of the tees.
It's a fun little course
It's not going to give you the same thrill as playing a regulation golf course with lots of par 5s but itks a fun way to spend a couple of hours and the price is definitely right.
Enjoyable
We have played this course twice now and have enjoyed it both times. There is plenty of water to lose your balls, so make sure that you have plenty with you. It is quite tight and challenging. We would definitely recommend.
