Boca Lago Country Club - West Course

So I had an 8:42am tee time this morning. Got to course around 8am and went to check in at the Pro Shop when things took a turn for the worse. After telling them I had the tee time I was told that there was a 9am tournament and best they could do was to get me out around 1:45pm. Couple things; why did no one call me about this? I live 35 minutes away from course so pretty frustrating. And the icing on the cake was how absurdly rude the old guy at the register was. Took no responsibility and pretty much started an argument with me. Only positive thing I could say was that the lady working with the old guy was very nice and apologetic. It’s like the two of them were filming an HR/Customer Service commercial for what not to do vs. what to do.

Very nice course, a little pricey for a round of golf but the course is very well maintained and enjoyable. I would recommend it here. Request to play the South and East courses. The west course is nice also, but a little shorter with some additional par 3s. There is also a nice driving range at no extra cost and a poolside bar for some drinks and food after your round.

I’ve been playing here for years but this is the first time since the stodgy old crew is no longer and the new membership and ownership has taken over!

Great and challenging course, easy check in. Inconvenience with no cash only credit card. But that was ok. No cart girl was a big disappointment. Thank God the weather wasn't too hot. Great time.

Had very nice round of golf today. played 18 holes in 3 hours and 20 minutes. courses is in very good shape overall as greens are in better shape than fairways. they said still have a bit work to do to finish it up and should be great when completed

Played east and west. East was in great shape, west was not what I expected 4 par 3s, one of the par 5s has been closed for construction of a school, no longer exists, wrong yardage on skycaddie. Heard south 9 is much better. Worth coming back to play again.

Wow wow wow, what a course. One of the best course in Florida I have play out of 70 place.

This is a really well kept course. Got to play as a member for a day plan on the East & West courses. Very good experience. Good part of the course bends around water and dog legs left & right; can be tricky of you don't play to the course. Nice staff and very professional.

The course is in great condition the fairways were perfect and the greens were fast. If you haven’t played this course in a while do yourself a favor and give it a try it may be in the best condition it’s ever been.

Played this so called $9m refurbished golf course this week having booked through CanAm at a cost of $84.

Couldn't tell the difference between this year and last before the refurb, except the bunkers were superb.

We were not told of the no carts on the fairway until we met the starter, after we had paid,not even 90 degree rule.

Zero assistance from the bag people at the end of the round, take your own clubs off the cart and clean them yourself.A great layout,let down by everything else, should be charging $30 as is,

Place is old, but decent. Golf course is ok, not well kept though. Weeds all over the greens. Its cheap, so you get what you pay for.

What really separates them from other golf courses is the staff. Ron, one of their starters is rude, belligerent, and confrontational. Many of the staff make you feel like you should be grateful they ALLOW you to play there. Customer service? Horrifying...

So many other nice courses close by. Take my advice, play somewhere else.
