Make sure you get it over the river
Absolutely brilliant day out in portadown. Great course and it's signature 9th hole the bann leap. Fantastic facilities as well. Id definitely recommend
Very good course
First time playing portadown, good course, greens and fairways well looked after. Pity my round was slightly ruined. I was first out on tee in the morning but on the 12th tee 2 older gentleman in a golf buggy decided it was OK to just jump in right as I was leaving the 11th green. Not sure why they think that is ok to bump ahead of people. Coming off the 18th green I noticed they went back on course somewhere rather than finishing their round.
9th hole is definitely a good hole shooting over the river bann
Not very welcoming
Let me start by saying this is just my own experience but I have to say that coming from the south of Ireland I did not feel very welcome here. As soon as I pulled into the carpark and they saw the southern reg I was greeted with a sea of cold stares. I checked in in the pro shop.and the guy behind the counter was very cold and not friendly at all. Just food for thought if you're thinking of coming from the south. The course itself is nice enough but the pace of play was shocking. There was a very slow 3 ball ahead of us and they would not let us through despite have numerous chance to do so.
Short but sweet
Short course, layout could be better but is in great condition
Course in great order,guys in shop friendly but the course was so busy with a competition and a few coffin dodgers in front of us it took us 4 hours to get through 14 holes after which we gave up,a shame because we've never had any major issues here before.
Love this course
Always made welcome by the friendly staff. Greens were in excellent condition and always enjoy playing this course

Great first visit, played the 9 holes open - really welcoming club
I thought £15 for 10 holes with some temporary greens was a bit steep. Staff very friendly and helpful. Course had held up surprisingly well to the recent rainfall

A real gem. Greens are excellent and staff always make you feel welcome and are more than helpful. I 100% would recommend playing this course.
Lovely Parkland Course
