About
Boca Greens Country Club is like most Florida golf courses in that it has a rather flat landscape with plenty of water, but it stand out for its scenic views and challenging but player-friendly layout designed by Joe Lee. Water is a prominent presence throughout the course and there are also numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with, but these difficult elements are nicely balanced by ample room off of the fairways. One of the trickier holes is the par-5 17th, which is almost completely surrounded by water. The layout has a few challenging holes but overall a range of skill levels can play the golf course. There are also five sets of tees to make it even more approachable. Boca Greens C.C. boasts an enjoyable and fair round that is one of the area's best values.

Difficult course
This course is more difficult because of the numerous sand traps and mediocre condition of the greens.

Tee off terrible
The lay-out is good, stajj very friendly but the conditions of some fairways are bad.
There is alors a big problem with some tee off, it's lire sand traps, no grass ????

Average course for the money
Course gets a lot of play. Only major complaint is that they need a ranger on course to move slow players along. Twosome a couple holes ahead of us was holding the entire course of golfers up!

Slow play can be exhausting
If you like 4.5 hour rounds, no beverage carts, 3 foursomes backed up at par 3, then this is a course for you. For me and the others I played with, thiss was just exhausting. Leaving the previous hole to see the next group still teeing off was a normalcy. Course conditions were normal considering public courses being overrun during peak season, but they need to space out the tee times a lot more.

Not well maintained
This was a great course ,not any more. The fairways are sparse with many weeds . Very tight lies. Bunkers need more sand. Greens are fast and challenging but have bare spots. Layout is still very good and the people are helpful and friendly.

Nice layout
Pace of play was good. Unfortunately some greens were not in good shape as were some of the tees and fairways.

Course in awful condition. Very slow play took almost 5 hours with a threesome.

Ridiculous Green complexes
Bad course conditions with toi many sand traps around greens (full of rocks as a bonus)
Not even worth $30. Do not go there!

Not up to par!
Course not as advertised. Greens were bumpy with weed patches throughout. Bunkers were lacking sand, rakes non existent on many holes and resembled mud pits , making it difficult for the most talented golfers to play out of . No on course food or beverage options . Really not worth the hour drive !

Not what it used to be
I hadn't played at Boca Greens in about a year. Well, what a difference a year makes... While the course is not in a terrible shape, it definitely has lost its luster. The greens need TLC, as do the tee boxes. The real problem is the pace of play, which was dismal. It took us 2.5 hours to play the first nine, and as we got to the 11th hole we found ourselves behind 2 foursomes that were waiting to tee off. That's when I decided to call it a day. So I paid for 18 holes and only played 10... I was not a happy camper. It looks like they're overbooking and try to split players between the 1st and the 10th hole, but at a pace that's unsustainable. So, do yourself a favor and stay away, at least until the season is over.

Nice greens, fairways and bunkers need some work
Nice greens and layout but bunkers and fairways need some work, I wouldn’t play again if I have to choose but it is a playable course with nice rolling greens.
