Boca Greens Country Club
About
Boca Greens Country Club is like most Florida golf courses in that it has a rather flat landscape with plenty of water, but it stand out for its scenic views and challenging but player-friendly layout designed by Joe Lee. Water is a prominent presence throughout the course and there are also numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with, but these difficult elements are nicely balanced by ample room off of the fairways. One of the trickier holes is the par-5 17th, which is almost completely surrounded by water. The layout has a few challenging holes but overall a range of skill levels can play the golf course. There are also five sets of tees to make it even more approachable. Boca Greens C.C. boasts an enjoyable and fair round that is one of the area's best values.

Will not return until the course improves
Every green had dirt, making a putt is impossible. Every bunker had a lot of rocks - staff was friendly but I wouldn’t pay more than $20 to play there.
Horrible conditions
This is no good at all !! Its in very bad shape, expensive for what it is. If it was 20 it would be ok but its very bad conditions. Sandy course, cant find grass even in fairway . Def not coming back here for at least 1 year or 2 . Bad bad
Worth the money
This course has a great layout, and conditions are average for the area. First hole had a temporary green, but the rest were open. We have played this course before, and will play it again. Better than most in the area.
Not much to say positive about Boca Greens.
The course has gone downhill fast. Nothing but dirt and sand, and the greens are terrible. Like putting on a bumpy dirt road. Hate leaving negative reviews but they are not even trying to make it better and don't blame the dry season because other courses in the area are in great shape. Just can't do it anymore until there are some improvements.
Ultra slow and terrible conditions
Go somewhere else. I got an early tee time to be able to breeze right through the course with no one in front of me. The front 9 went super quick and I didn't wait at all. Problem is, they start people on the back 9 as well so by the time I got to the turn, it was completely packed with people that just took multiple drops after each terrible shot, despite knowing people were behind them.
The conditions were atrocious. The first "green" was moved to the fairway because the actual green was so bad. The rest were actually pretty similar to the first one, akin to putting on rough concrete. Tee boxes were barely better than a sandbox, with no grass left. The audacity to charge $50 for conditions like that is ridiculous. I won't be playing there again.
Dog Track. Played fast though
Course is inside a “gated” community. Probably one of the poorest conditioned courses I have ever played. Looks like it had been abandoned for years. Greens were awful. Sand on greens. No grass on fairways. Obviously zero money is being spent here. Positives. Pro shop staff and bag drop staff were excellent. Round was under 4 hours. Lost interest half way through round because of the poor conditions. Not sure it’s even worth to play if it was for free.
Greens tough shape
Turf management is the issue here; fairways have many patches of essentially no grass and greens have lots sand spots. But nice range and staff. Don’t cost much,, don’t expect much. Nice folks playing there
Great value for the price
Greens are not the best, but they are faster than other courses in the area. Great layout, and enjoy this course. First green is a temp as they are recovering from damage. Rest of the greens are spotty, kind of normal for this area.
Awful Course Conditions and Strange Staff
This course is in terrible shape. Played it a few years ago and it wasn't nearly this bad. All but 4 of the greens are dead and have huge patches with no grass. The first hole had a temporary green on the fairway. The course is the lowest priced anywhere around and for good reason. Even though it's only $45 for prime FL golf season, it is not worth it. The place is in terrible shape and, sadly, it should be closed down as it does not offer the minimum a course should offer. The pro shop guy and the snack bar lady were cool, but the cart guys were strange and were saying odd things about my buddy's clubs. Further, the beverage cart girl was likely under the influence of something, it was strange. Overall, save your money, go play somewhere else for $20-30 more that actually has grass on their greens.
Boca Greens has been abandoned by the home owners
Since the home owners are no longer supporting the course, it had gone way down hill.
The greens are all terrible and the fairways have dead grass everywhere. I was very surprised at the condition after paying a modest $52... Even as it is in-season, it was still too much...
Poorest course condition I've ever played on
The conditions of the course were the worst I've ever played on. It's unfortunate as the layout is nice and the foundation for a great course is there.
The turf conditions on the whole course were bad, especially the greens. Every green was different, and it was impossible to putt! I was told by others that the bad green conditions are an ongoing problem over multiple years.
I would skip it and play somewhere else as the course needs too much work!
Sand
There is as much sand on the greens as in the the trap. Green do not exist
