Boca Dunes Golf & Country Club

I played this course during my 7 round, 5 day golf trip. It was by far the worst course of the 7 different courses I played. To be honest, the course layout was actually pretty cool, and the staff were awesome. But, it was pretty evident that the management does not care about the conditions of the course. The grass was mostly brown, the tee boxes were in bad shape, the difference between the rough and the fairway wasn't very noticeable on some holes, etc. The reason I rank it as "Fairly Easy" is because I shot my lowest round of the trip at this course. We got a Hot Deal on this course which made it about $42 a person and even still, I don't believe it was worth it. It's not in the nicest community either. Overall, this course should be skipped. You can find way better courses in South Florida for equal or less prices.

Decent place to play. When I played the greens were loaded with sand.

I only had achance to complete 16 holes due to time constraints. I got behind a group of 4 (2 husband and wife groups) Quebecers (I know because I asked) who for my last seven holes new I was playing as a single, and who had several opportinities to let me play through, and their pace was slow. The marshall should have known that these people were slowing down the whole course.

Nice course overall. Good Fairways and Greens. Tee boxes are uneven and rounded. The bunkers are horrid and full of rocks, some large, and shell pieces. They will tear up a good wedge quicker than you can say "what the heck happened!"
Bring a cheap sand wedge or just pull your ball out.

Ho Hum! I wondered why I never played this course before. The sight of all of the mobile homes reminded me. No beverage cart. Fair to middle greens. This would be a perfect course for beginners, juniors or seniors. Questionable yardages. 7093 from the tips but plays considerably shorter. All around an okay track but not one I will revisit.

Golfnow rate was $52. Course very ordinary, there are many nicer courses around. All the T boxes were uneven. Greens were in good condition. We were a foresome behind a threesome. There was a 10/12 yrs old kid in that group who was more interested in driving the cart and messing around than playing. We played in 3 1/2 hours and waited on every shot. Not the course`s fault but annoying. Will not play there again.

This was my first time playing here. It was a fun course to play that runs through condos and a neighborhood so plenty of houses and things to hit if you stray off course :)

The course needs a ranger because I was playing as a single and got stuck behind a slow foursome who did not let me pass. Also this course is near retirement communities so plenty of older, slower golfers playing.

Greens and fairways are fantastic! Greens look like they had been watered recently so they played very slow. Tee boxes were average but could be improved. No hole maps so make sure to have a GPS on your phone for hole layout. There were bunkers on almost every hole and most greens were rather large so make sure to aim well! Rough was very thick so try to stay out of there!

Water was on about half the course so that plays as a major hazard. Lots of little kitties in the bushes so keep a lookout for cute cats and such.

No cart girl but there were bathrooms on the course. Pro shop was nice and had small snacks and drinks. Course employees were extremely nice and helpful so I have no complaints there!

I would probably choose to try a different course if I am in the area again. It's not that I didnt have a good time, but I would rather try something new as this course didnt really leave me with any lasting impression.

haven't played in a good while and have to say it is nicer than back then. Some really nice, tough holes and some fun risk reward holes also. Pretty far for me to get to but had a nice day and the cold one at the end was a bonus.

Played solo on a Sunday afternoon and had one of my better days. Ran into some trafic but replayed a couple holes. The fairways and greens were in good condition. The wide open layout is very forgjving Enjoyed my outing and will return.

The course is pretty challenging for a public golf course . Very friendly staff . Course is kept up and manicured probably.

Will play again, if the price is right ! The green were great.

For me a hidden jewel, great staff. Great course for a average golfer such

as myself, while still challenging for the more experience golfer. Highly recommend trying Boca. Dune.

when we arrived they told us we can only play the front nine because the greens had just been punched on the back nine, but the greens on the front nine had full of sand on most of them.
they did offer a discount because of the back nine was closed, so for the price of 22$ we cannot really complain. but good to know.

I thought the course was a superior value on the Hot Deal! The greens had been recently aerated but still rolled reasonably well. Should be great in a couple of weeks. I liked the layout. Found the fairways in good condition for this time of year. Made me wonder about some of the other reviews. There is some real rough in places and you want to stay out of it. It played longer than expected. My only real beef is that the bunkers are horrible. Mostly dirt, not sand, and rocky. Other than that I thought course conditions were above average for this time of year.
I will be back.

Decent track, not much water and not long with some decent bunkers to navigate around. Problem was most fairways had an inordinate amount of crab grass. Some of the greens had sand spots as well. Tee boxes were not in good shape at all. For the Golf Now deal it was a good value but for their full price I think they need to catch up to other local area courses before trying to get $27 on their summer rate.

I opted for a early morning tee time, thinking I'd beat the predicted high temps for the day. As my luck would have it, it was already near 90 when I teed off, and I guess that's why there were very few players on the site, and why I was allowed to play as a single.........thank goodness I was able to complete my round in less than three hours because the heat had taken everything out of me by 12:30 or so.

Unless you really have an urge to get out and play, my advice is to wait for a cooler day...This of course is not a knock against this club as obviously the same heat would apply anywhere in the local area.
