Layout OK, but 90% of South Florida courses far surpass this one.
Layout is OK with a few challenging holes. Staff was friendly. Practice area looked good, but I did not use it.
Rough and fairways were weedy and riddled with unfilled divots; tees were bumpy and not very level; fairways seemed to need watering, despite frequent recent rains and overflowing water hazards. Plugged, very bumpy greens made putting difficult and not enjoyable.
The early summer plugging suggests Maintenance is trying to improve this course, but it has a long way to go in most respects except bunkers, in which sand depth was somewhat inconsistent, but usually smoothly raked. This is one of the few South Florida courses where preferred lies are necessary in the summer.
Low greens fee was the only redeeming factor, probably offered due to the course condition.
You get what you pay for!
This rates as one of the worst courses I have ever played (along with Ocean Breeze a.k.a. Boca Teeca, for similar reasons). The friendliness of the staff was one of the few redeeming features; otherwise, the course can only be described as a boring succession of nondescript par 4's, all of which are in a sad state of repair. The course is surrounded by a series of equally ill-maintained housing developments from which occasion teenagers appeared to wander aimlessly across the course just in time to interrupt tee shots. It is not an exaggeration to say that these kids seems to deliberately walk as slowly as possible across the fairways as though daring you to hit them.
The greens were surprisingly well maintained, considering the crab-grass and weed fairways they follow, but that couldn't make up for the general sorry condition of the course.
Tee boxes are universally arranged in single lines, gold, blue, and white being distinguished merely by being 10 or so yards nearer each greens. The course designer manages to repeat this total lack of imagination throughout the entire course.
Fairways and tee boxes were in terrible condition when I played. On some holes there were literally no grass on the tee box.
I got a very cheap deal on Golf Now ($17) but still walked away feeling I'd been ripped off. The very worst of Florida golf and one definitely to avoid.
Fast Greens and smooth
Tees need to be a bit more flat and a bit more grass. Some fairways allowed misses while others were extremely challenging to hit. Greens played true and fast. South Florida wind promotes a player to think about shot. It was a good time
The layout is good.
The course layout is good but the teeboxes and fairways need some maintenance. Most of the fairways were plugged and the teeboxes had lots of bare spots. The greens were good and fast v
This course is in great condition.
I have periodically played this course during the past 19 years and it's in the best condition I've ever seen. The greens are in fantastic shape. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. This is truly an enjoyable course to play.
This course is a disaster
Fairways were hardpan, no grass for ball to sit on. Greens were very slow, had to slam the ball to get it to move. Cost was outrageous for what we played on. Front nine borders a trailer park.
this is a good course to leane on
the greens are in good shape the starters get you out on the course fast no time to wait
Not a bad layout - especially the par 3s
It probably was not a fair day to judge the course as it was 45 degrees and wind blowing about 15 mph. Not a good day for Florida golf
course was interesting and well maintained
Staff was friendly, we got off on time. Pace of play was great and our 4some finished in 4 hours. Course well maintained, bunkered and pretty open with water on some holes and trees framing a few more. We enjoyed playing it and for $35 it was a great deal
outside personell over board
never been to a course where the person loading carts and moving carts around was so disrespectful, not only of the clients but of the carts themselves. pulling carts up, slamming on the brakes. Telling people to" look out, i"m coming through". There was overbooking so at our tee time there were 6 groups waiting on the tee. We eventually started on the 10 tee so that helped us. Don't know about the people behind us. Poor way to start the day.
Good value
Course from tips is challenging enough. Conditions could be better, but overall not bad.
would play it again
our foresome enjoyed our round of golf.would play different tees,we played blue at 6600yds with wind and was a monster.as all of us are seniors white or even green tees at 6150yds would still be a challenge.length and undulating and fast greens made for a big challenge.
playable course/all levels. no character. rundown condo bldgs surrounding course. back side very noisy/smelly due to lg storage tanks.
playable course/all levels. no character. rundown condo bldgs surrounding course. back side very noisy/smelly due to lg storage tanks. only play if cost is $40 or less
Greens, Staff and conditions great!
The staff was very efficient and friendly including giving a discounted junior rate to my son.
Greens and Sand traps were in great condition. Fairways and tees were good. The wind kicked up and made it quite challenging. Good pace of 4 1/4 hours but would have been under 4 if ahead of one group.
Fun course in very good condition
A public course in very good condition. Greens were even and rolled nicely. Course in much better condition compared to some well known clubs.
Nice course in good shape
I liked the course, It was in real good condition and the staff was friendly. Not super hard but enough of a challenge for a high handicapper. Hit your drives and you will be in good shape to score.
Long but easy.
Long holes but very easy, fairway open, practically no hazard on play but fairway and green in good shape, the personnel very frendly too so that's why I recommend that course.
