Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course

The golf course has beautiful lay out. The greens are in good condition. Back nine is fun. Green fees is reasonable. The staffs are friendly. Great restaurant. Recommend.

This hidden gem is tucked away up by Clear Lake and offers some tremendous views, friendly staff and regular golfers, reliable carts, and inexpensive beer. The only downside to this course is that you need to drive a bit to get there...but the trip isn't so bad if you pair it up with a trip to nearby Napa and Calistoga.

I would give the course 3.5 stars if I could. It lost the half for the front nine, which are very flat and muni-ish, stuck into a neighborhood of 1970's era retirement/vacation homes--and not particularly attractive ones. Several holes on the back nine, however, make this course worth a visit. Several beautiful holes work their way uphill through a forest (you will feel like you are in the foothills), and end at a hole that is 250 feet above the fairway. I didn't believe the website, as 250 is very high, but this hole really is and it's spectacular. The last couple of holes cut through more old neighborhood. Overall I'm glad I went but don't feel like I need to go back.

The course was in great condition, but several holes work was been done and it was necessary to hit from a much shorter tee box. This was done on the most fun par 5. I hit a 5 wood and a nine iron to be on in two, that's how much they shortened the hole.

it is one of the best golf course i've played in long time. wide open fairways. green's are fast, good for the game. planning on returning to the course and play round again.

Wife and I went to Clear lake for the weekend (from Sacramento) and played here. We had a very fun time with lots of interesting holes. The back nine was very fun. Will return again. Great drinks at Mullignas

I am still a beginning Golfer so this Course proved pretty challenging for me. The Course was one of the nicest and well maintained Courses I have played at. Will defiantly be making a future trip out here, especially once my game improves.

We had a great time golfing at this course. It was my first time and people were all very friendly and the course was in great shape. I love playing at places like this, where there are locals and everyday golfers who just enjoy the game. We'll be back!

course was in great shape greens a little bumpy but in a week or two they will be awesome i recomend this course to any level ou will not be dissapointed....

This was a beautiful course to play on. However I think they overbooked as we had many other groups in front of us. Rate of play was slow. Overall a great course definitely going to go back and play again. Beware as some of the holes have houses on both sides of the fairways and if you have a wicked slice as I do sometimes they come into play and broken windows are the responsibility of the golfer.

Thanks to Golfnow it has made it very affordable to play this wonderful Course. I am a Novice Golfer but Greatly enjoyed playing at Hidden Valley Golf Course... Thank You Golfnow.

My first time golfing this great course and it won't be my last. The price was very affordable and the greens were in good shape. First time players don't let the wide open play of the front fool you! The back nine is a whole new course altogether. Bring your camera because the views are spectacular. I'm not a good golfer but it was perhaps one of the hardest back nine I've ever played and I've played a lot of courses especially in te north bay. I recommend this course to anyone. You will have fun.

This is both a fun and challenging course. It is designed for players of all abilities. It is kept in pristine condition. the greens are usually FAST. I love everything about the golf experience at HVL. Oh by the way 6 packs are only $12. Super bargain!!!

We always have fun at this course. It's in good shape, and the greens are particularly good. The play is relaxed and friendly. It's a little too much for beginners, but has a lot to offer all other players.

I like this course because it usually plays fast. It is a simple layout with most holes simply straight ahead until you get to the stretch of holes that take you "up the mountain". The signature hole is a drive off a cliff to the fairway far below. I am an average golfer and this course is manageable for me when I am playing well.

My brother, good friend and myself had an excellent time at Hidden Valley on Tuesday. The course was in great shape and I even broke fifty on the back nine! The weather was perfect and we look forward to playing Hidden Valley again.The deal we received through Golf Now made the afternoon even more special. There were not many other golfers out there and it makes me wonder why more courses don't offer such good deals so that more people participate. After all, more golfers are definitely better than fewer.
