Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course

The course is a lot of fun and a great test of all your irons and woods. The back 9 is especially fun.

Course usually in great shape guess greens keepers where on strike till last weekend now the first 4or 5 greens hade a bunch of dead spots ranging from 18" and up all over them I woul say at least 30% of green was dead the rest of the greens where a little better but not much rough needed mowed and some large areas of fairway where also dead I sure do hope they can get the course back up to par

Layout is fine, had some fun holes and had a few plain holes. Greens were some of the slowest I have played this year by a wide margin. Overall cost probably more than I would expect to play for such a course. Would I play it again ... yes, if the greens were made faster and the green fees were to drop $10.

Course is awesome to play. Great water hazards and some fairway bunkers. Very score friendly overall. Love the amazing clubhouse with good food, full bar, a pool table, plenty of patio seating, great practice greens, pitching/chipping green. My only bummer was a couple greens were getting bare (but I'm sure they're on it) and a group of 5 slowed my pace down tremendously but that's golf.

The weather was great, we were able to tee of right on time and had a wonderful round of golf!!

Front was excellent back nine was horrible due to lack of marshals.

I think it's a gem for the price. Also being that it's right down the hill from my house the location is great as well.

I play at HV once a month and always enjoy it. Course kept in pretty good condition. Laid back and relaxed environment and bar.

Nice course, pride of condition is evident. Very reasonable rate from national website. Places long from even white tees. Would use more often if closer.

Nice warm day in Lake County. Course was in good condition and greens were somewhat fast. A nice challenge for the intermediate golfer and possibly the advanced player.

Good course, had lots of fun. It has good greens and fairway.

Very nice public track. The greens and fairways are well maintained and it is set up nicely for the average golfer.
The back 9 is definitely more interesting and picturesque than the front, but the front is more open and forgiving.

Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all well maintained. Played from white tees and not a boring, flat track. Some greens well elevated and most have bunkers right and left, 15th tee box waaayy above the fairway. Creeks and ponds come into play on several holes. Very fair course with wide fairways on most holes. Pace was about 3-12 hrs, but probably due to 11:15 tee time since it can get hot here. This day was nice though, mid 80s with a breeze. Will play here again.

I had a great time playing. Although I was a single as it was late in the day and everyone was mostly a foursome or two that asked me to play through, the course was not crowded and it was a very enjoyable day, warmer than I would expect late in the afternoon. The greens were challenging and in good shape and the fairways were in good shape as well. I will be back. You probably don't want to walk this course because of the back nine; unless you really want a hike. The terrain reminds me of the Texas Hill country with some really great vistas.

Great course. Relaxed atmosphere. Great to be on an 18 hole championship course and not be pressured by high strung golfers on ego trips. All very mellow and very friendly. Other golfers were very nice and talkative. Love that type of vibe.

I'd pay the green fees again just to play the 15th hole again. What a view! And then theres the tee shot! The sign says it all, "Good luck"!! Lol. Beautiful course. Greens were a little slow but still rather true. All in all, very pleased with my experience.

Great course from the blues. Challenging holes...first hole is a beast of a par 4..course flows well..great staff..highly reco!!!

The course is in great shape and the greens are in excellent condition. Paired up with 2 other singles and had a fun round. It makes you think about your next shot and is a great value.

Tee time was bunched behind us wasn't off 1st green and had someone hitting into us. Other than that great course beautiful landscape staff was great.

Great course all the way around. Kept me interested and challenged. Can't wait to go back!
