About
The 27 holes at Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club sprawl through a landscape of swaying palms, towering pines, and mature live oaks. Located in Bonita Springs, the club offers some of the most scenic holes in southwest Florida. The numerous water features are difficult to ignore, coming into play on almost every one of the club's holes. The holes are played in three 18-hole combinations. The South/North golf course is a challenging but fair layout that features strategically placed bunkers and several doglegs. The club's signature hole is the North nine's second. This scenic par 3 plays to a well protected green that features a bunker on the right, and out-of-bounds to the left. In addition to the three golf courses there is a practice facility with a driving range, pitching and chipping areas, and two large putting greens.

Nice layout.
Nice layout. Couple tricky holes where course knowledge would have helped. Greens rolled smooth and true but still soft enough so they held approach shots. Tee boxes good condition. Some fairways had some bare spots. Friendly staff. I’ll play again.
Another Fun Round
Staff all very friendly and helpful. They need more golf carts, as we had to wait for a cart for our afternoon round. Takes away from practice time,
Played North and South Course. Condition of fairways, sand traps and greens were average. Greens slow and bumpy, fairways thin no grass North course worst of the two. Layout is interesting and challenging. We got a hot deal rate otherwise we would not play this course at their rack rates.
too tricked up
The course is very narrow with water and sand. A lot of blind holes and doglegs that you have no idea where the green is. It is a shame because the course is in good condition, I would never pay full price for this course.
Zero organization and overbooking
Paid for 18 holes managed 9 in about 2.5 hours. No starter on the north course at 16:00 keeping order restored . Pretty cowboy-esque set up. I ended up going whenever I could squeeze myself in. Pace of play was atrocious.
Good value for late afternoon price
A lot of blind shots and water. c
Course was in good shape but for the average golfer you are going to need a dozen balls.
