The 27 holes at Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club sprawl through a landscape of swaying palms, towering pines, and mature live oaks. Located in Bonita Springs, the club offers some of the most scenic holes in southwest Florida. The numerous water features are difficult to ignore, coming into play on almost every one of the club's holes. The holes are played in three 18-hole combinations. The South/North golf course is a challenging but fair layout that features strategically placed bunkers and several doglegs. The club's signature hole is the North nine's second. This scenic par 3 plays to a well protected green that features a bunker on the right, and out-of-bounds to the left. In addition to the three golf courses there is a practice facility with a driving range, pitching and chipping areas, and two large putting greens.

Had a great round

Pace of play has never been better since I have played there. Got 18 done in 3 3/4 hours. Just made the game flow so well. Shot my best score this day. The only reason for the loss of a star on course conditions was due to a par 5 being cyst down to 291 yards on the East course. Just wish someone would have informed us about it. A little signage wouldn’t hurt either. The other cart with us never played here and was driving around looking for the tee box. I understand the need to do it due to the construction. Please let your guests know. We will be back still a fun course to play.

Good Time in spite of threesome bailing

I enjoyed my time being paired with a young man named John. However, we were behind a slow foursome and could have started before them. The story is the threesome I was supposed to play with got their a few minutes before me and told the Starter they did not want to wait for me as they didn't know me. Thus they started at least two groups before our scheduled time and John and I had to play behind two other slow fourseomes.

Very nice course...but

Some sections of the fairways were cut too short and as a result burned out. Hitting off of dead grass is just hitting off of dirt. Too bad.. Liked 90% of the course.
