Bonita Bay East - Sabal Course

Challenging. Good greens. Scenic. Fair with lots of room for good drives.

My favourite course in Naples; where else can you tee off with a herd of deer watching you? The golf course is demanding, in great condition with near perfect greens. A joy to play!

Don't miss playing here. Conditions were outstanding. Greens were very fast and quite undulating. Fairways are somewhat wide with sand throughout. There is no disappointment in playing here

We only visit this area once a year and this is the first course that we play. It is a beautiful challenging course and is a must for anyone looking for quality play. The staff was very accommodating and super friendly. We love this course and you will too!

One of the best values in Naples. Great layout, well maintained and monitored. Rangers move along play.

The Sabal Course was a challenging yet very fair course. Trouble didn't find you, you found it through bad shots! The green were fast but true.

Really nice golf course; prefer Sabal over Cypress

We played this course after a day of heavy rain. The cart rule was therefore cart path only, which was justified on some holes but not all. The challenge in the pace of play was the cart path was on the far edges of the hole layout, and walks to get to balls hit on the far edge of the fairway or rough were very long. At the turn we tried to get some drinks and a bite to eat and were shooed outside by the staff with the explanation of the refreshment cart should take care of that - we only saw that cart once the entire round.
That said the course is challenging, strikingly designed, and beautifully maintained.

The course is in excellent condition and provides a challenge whatever your level of golf. The rangers did a great job. At the fee on offer thru golf now this was undoubtedly the best value golf we played this trip.

great course, no houses/condos, no car noise, great scenery. wonderful experience, no need to keep score if you don't want to. It's eveything I like about a golf course

I played Bonita Bay East Cypress Course and had a truly great experience. Greens were running at about 10 and were true as can be. Fairways are open and forgiving on the (occasional?) misshit. I would highly recommend this facility if you are considering a golf course in Naples, FL. Good luck and hittem' straight!

Played the Sabal course. Just opened for play after the summer and was a bit wet underfoot but overall great condition. Not keen on the holes around the big lake as it is too dramatic a change from the heavily forested course. Nothing wrong with the golfing challenge. This is a tough course, especially when there was zero roll on your tee ball so the back tees played really long.
Probably would prefer to play the Cypress if I had a choice

Golf was good... (use to be as member here 3 years ago... greens were great) pace of play was slow!!! time of year no ranger... 4.5 hours was long... ( we joined another 2 some) Thanks for the opportunity to play again

The course was still being prepared for the season (and we weren't able to play the course we'd booked - Sabal - as it was being worked on) but some great holes on the Sabal. The course was holding up pretty well given that there had been so much rain. The staff were great - very welcoming and very accommodating out on the course as they ensured that the sprinklers were turned off as we approached each hole.
Hopefully, we'll get back and play the Sabal some day. Not easy as we live in the UK but it's on our wish list.

Very scenic with generous fairways and interesting greens.

I would recommend this course to anyone coming to the Naples area for golf. The staff are friendly and course perfect. The tees are challenging from wherever you choose to play from. The greens are some of the best in Naples with putts true and greens fast. If you get a chance, try to play both the Sabal and Cypress courses. They will both be a great experience and good challenge!

Here's a course, no two courses, where you won't see homes or condos. But you will see deer, wild turkey, herons, gators etc. Matter of fact the only building you'll see from the course is the lodge. And that's only on the two 18th holes. The two Fazio courses (The Cypress and The Sabal) are Audubon Signature Sanctuary courses. They are in perfect condition and are very challenging. GPS helps out a lot with distances to traps, water, and front and backs of greens. The best thing is you can get awesome rates in the summer through Golfnow. How about $25 for a course that usually goes for $100+
