THIRSTY
No drink or food cart around the course. No water fountains or water to drink on the course. DISGRACE
Great value rounds with friendly members
Thoroughly enjoyed my round at Gainborough. Great course layout with improvements on the go. More water than expected, and some extremely tough bunkers. The fairways were in good condition and the greens were well-kept, if not a little bit slow. I joined 3 members who were a very friendly group. looking forward to my next round here.
Great course and excellent value for money
Gainsborough Greens is a moderately difficult course in a convenient location between the Gold Coast and Brisbane. The course was in good condition when we played, one green was out of action and bunkers were a little inconsistent. The group in front of us were a bit slow but it was still an enjoyable game, this course is much more forgiving than some of the other courses on the Gold Coast and is excellent value for money.
First time At Gainsborough.
Fantastic course, challenging but still open enough for high handicapper like myself to get around.
I booked through GolfNow app so I got a fantastic deal on a round with cart. Staff were all friendly, course was well maintained and has a lovely layout. It was just a shame I got stuck behind a slow group but these things happen.
10/10 will play there again. If I lived closer I would join the club.
Great course
Friendly staff and brand new carts with modern gps. Lots of kangaroos about
Unforgiving
The course is very unforgiving. Thick roughs heavy trees and narrow fairways. The slightest wayward ball is generally a replacement. Little to no room for error. Well maintained fairways and great greens. A lot of GUR around and the bunkers were solid, meaning not real easy to get under the ball. Enjoyable play. Will return.
Slow play
Generally love playing Gainsborough as it’s good value for money. Felt today they spaced the tee times 30 sec apart. 2 golfers 4 hours to play 12 holes before we pulled pin. 3 groups waiting at every tee. I understand they need to make money but today was a joke. We lost momentum at every tee having to wait atleast 10 mins not to mention trying to play our second shot. Like I said usually love the course but hate when revenue is more important than customer satisfaction. Will remember this when booking future games and will go elsewhere. Maybe enforce slow play as we were 25 min behind recommended pace after front 9
