Lakelands
Lakelands golf course is considered a premium golf course, and after I paid a premium price for my round, I was hoping for good standard.
A lot of the greens had either patchy or sanded out patches of grass on multiple greens.
Nice course
Very good mix of holes, great greens and well maintained bunker's. Will be back again
First round
Love the layout but they are obviously working on reducing the green size meaning some of the greens weren’t as good as you would expect for $95. That said will definitely be playing this course again in the future

Where else in the world can you play a course as good as this for $70 great experience
Very nice course, only couch fairways I have played in QLD so far!!
Growing up in SA, I love playing couch fairways, and so far I haven’t played any others in QLD. In my opinion the fine leaf, tight couch grass makes the best fairway both visually, and to play on.
The course had recently had spring renovations so greens were not perfect, but it was obvious that they will be very good in a few weeks as they even rolled smoothly in this condition. For me they are not as good as bent grass greens, but probably as good as you are going to get in the QLD environment (although I heard the glades has bent).
My driver game was terrible today so had a few lost balls - course definitely requires some accuracy off the tee - a bit wide and you will be be in water, thick trees, or OB. Many other courses you can go wide and be safe in another fairway - not an option here .
Course felt secluded which I like. Only a few holes where you can see the main road or neighbouring houses.
Clubhouse was the only downside. Tidy building, just needs a renovation inside - locker rooms particularly. I didn’t eat here today so can’t comment on food quality etc.

Amazing Autumnal Day.
Beautiful Autumn Day on the Gold Coast. GREAT Course which has just it's Winter treatment. Unfortunately I did not do the course justice by playing average golf. Amazing day weather wise.
