Lakelands dec 2020
Lakelands continues to be one of the top picks on Gold Coast. The layout was challenging with the wind blowing on the day. Green and fairways were in great condition despite limited rain. All water courses were low on water.
Lakelands
Had a good time. Course was in good nic. Bunkers out of play due to recent heavy rain but the course drains well and was firm.
Glorious golf
This IS a magnificent golf course. Staff are great and the beers cold. My only observation is the carts do not have GPS. This course requires a good amount of knowledge to play it well and you pay top $$ to be on it...so GPS would seem to be a basic inclusion. Loved the day and the course.
Good course
Enjoyed Lakelands after not playing there for many years.
Great layout and well maintained and a pity my golf wasn’t up to the standard of the course.
Will return and recommend.

Never ceases to amaze with its presentation
Lakelands offers generous fairways and equally receptive putting greens. Always in very good condition year round.
One of the Gold Coast’s best.
Great Layout
Lakelands is always in good condition.
A great layout and excellent playing conditions as you would expect on the Gold Coast.
The clubhouse does need attention, mainly the ambience.
The bar and dining area are remnants of the 80’s with no atmosphere. Needs to be brightened up and some background music to create a more inviting feel.
I loved the day. The course was amazing. Excellent condition. World class. I look forward to playing it again .
This was in such good condition and the weather was perfect and playing partners good company. I had a cracker of a day. Challenging because of the long rough fringing the fairways but that’s what I play for. A gentle challenge. The fairways? Even with no divots to fill. The greens smooth. I had a great day.
Easy pace round on a good course
Course was in good condition. We played as a 2 ball and finished inside 3 and half hours. Enjoyed the course and would play again.
Clubhouse service afterwards was very slow, though and coffee ordinary
Tough but wonderful scenery
Not a very forgiving course for beginners, with lots of well positioned bunkers and some water, but thoroughly enjoyable as a relaxing outing and a top course to play for the experienced player.
Great practice facilities too.
Fairways maintained immaculately and greens very fast and true.
A good testing course for the under 18 handicap.
Excellent, very enjoyable
Typical Jack Nicklaus Signature course. Very enjoyable. Perfectly kept course in amazing condition. Very friendly staff.
