IMG Academy Golf Club

Course is playing well and the greens are in very good condition. Somewhat pricey for what it is, but one of the better pay-and-play courses in the area. Pace of play was a problem (Saturday morning) and they could use a marshal keeping pressure on the painfully slow groups.

We got out early which was good for pace of play and the course was in very good shape. Only negative was that the IMG golf teams took up all 12 spots on the driving range and none of the coaches or staff moved any of the team to allow for paying patrons to warm up.

Great layout but over priced. I’d still play it again. 😊🏌️‍♀️

GOLFNOW - pulled a fast one on me today. I took a “Hotdeal” on their app for $74 at another course (NOT IMG). They took payment but didn’t give me the tee time. I found out that the tee time was still available, but for $139. (What is this merchant behavior called? Something like, “bait and sw…)

My 2nd visit and last round this season before heading north. Had such a Great experience 3 weeks ago had to play it one more time, and was not disappointed with the conditions or amenities.

Lunch in the Grill room great with excellent views of the Gulf. Staff was very attentive and friendly.

Really nice practice areas. The range is a little small and have to hit off mats. But this is the norm at most courses this time of year.

The pace was very slow this day there was a lot of groups walking in 87 degree weather in front of us.

The Greens are fast and tee box’s in great condition. The overseeding is really working. Very little rain this winter and the entire course is green and lush.

Pair up with some really nice guys from the area which made it a lot of fun to play.

Have played 25 courses in this area over the past 3 months and glad I picked IMG for my final round.

Here for vacation. Read about a lot of complaints regarding other courses (staff rudeness, pace of play, course quality). Snagged a morning tee time at IMG for $95. Got exactly what I paid for. Great conditions, friendly staff, beautiful facilities, etc. I will play again when I am in the area.

Had a good day, course not crowded at all on a Saturday afternoon in March. Very green conditions for this late in the season. Green’s rolling very nice. Will be back

True greens with nice bunkering. Strategic water and fairway bunkers. Overall good condition for tees, fairways, rough and greens.

Booked at 2:50 tee time and was 30 minutes slow when we teed off at 10. Called the pro to.let them know we had slow play 2 groups ahead and no Marshall came out. Called for a cart girl and no one came out. Got to the 17 hole at 7:20 and they came out to tell.us to hurry up. Talked to them and they informed us they know where all carts are by GPS but did nothing about the group that was 3 holes behind by end of round.

Played here last year and decided to repeat this year. Tuesday pm eas a shot gun start which we were not aware of ahead of time but my wife and I were paired with 2 good guys. We all had fun during the round. Would recommend this also as it’s a bit cheaper that university park.
