Manatee Golf Course

Course was in good condition, greens slow but were good condition. My complaint is with management as they take your $$ and then they forget about you . No starter no ranger. We were a twosome so I understand pace of play. There was a threesome a foursome a onesome and 2 twosomes ahead of us. A starter could have combined these groups and play would have been much more enjoyable and pace of play would have been better. Manatee always known for taking you $$ and nothing else. It is a reasonable priced course but the staff is What staff!!

Enjoyed playing here! The reason I gave the course a good instead of excellent is because of some of the teeboxes and fairways. But the greens were in very good shape. Number 4 par 5 with the narrow fairway and creek to cross cost me a round in the 80's. LOL

The course is very spacious, well maintained and challenging

Manatee is a nice golf course with a full driving range.it has a good pro shop and gas golf carts. The only issue, and it was very serious was they let way too many groups out, too close together. On the second hole we played, there were 4 groups on the hole at the same time..

Unfortunately because of this we walked in after the 12th hole.

Our prepaid tee time was 12:08, we arrived at the course at 11:20. Picked up our voucher in the clubhouse, putted, and picked up our 2 carts. At 11:40 we saw the 1st tee and the 1st hole were wide open. We went to the 1st to tee off early when the Troll from the cart barn (Not Larry) came racing out to stop us from proceeding-saying other people paid a premium for the earlier tee time. There was no one there that we would interfere with. The Troll was angry nashing and rude. He really threw off our day. I understand if paid players had an earlier tee time than us they would get preference over us. The course is very busy after the 12 noon discount price time slots.

So it becomes a waiting 5 hour golf game.

Could be alleviated if they let the noon players tee off early in the empty unsold time slots. The cart barn troll should be kept away from the public.

Nice layout and course conditions but seriously, 7 minute t-times causes the pace of play to be awful.

Waited on every shot. Not fun!

The course was a close drive and was a very busy day at Anna Marie island so we decided to get off and golf and manatee closet course.the course has a very strong odor of sewer water which has had for years. Something about near a water recycling plant.the courses in Florida especially spring break is very expensive so you take what is closest and less expensive.

Our day began with a starter with a bad attitude, bad condition tee boxes full of divets, horrible fairways and slow greens. Better courses to play for the money
