Manatee Golf Course

Fog delay in the morning so one hour delay at 2 in the afternoon. Very slow golfers and no Marshall to speed them up.

First off, the staff is always great. The course has continued to improve. 7 minutes between tee times and an online special translated into a very long round. Fairways , although over watered and soggy at times, are nice. Off the fairway is a disaster, little grass and a lot off sand. Most of the greens were really nice and all played consistently. I hope they keep the maintenance up so we can again enjoy having the course all to ourselves this summer.

Noticed that the course had been overseeded with Rye in the off season. The fairways and tees were exceptional. Most courses around the fairways are thin. The course pace of play was very slow waiting on almost every shot around 5.15hrs. Greens were on the slow side but were very smooth and held shots

My tee time was at 3:10 and started on time there was so many people on the course and the pace was brutally slow......only get 12 holes in by 6:20.

One of the few courses that haven’t raise their rates through the roof.

Tee times are way too close together. Staff is unfriendly because they are overwhelmed. 3-4 groups a hole. Pathetic.

The course was all stacked up with foursomes, had to wait on just about every tee. Our round took almost 5 hours. At 7 minutes dwell for tee times, this is what you get. The fairways and green conditions were pretty good for a public course, greens were soft and held lofted shots well but we found the green speeds were quite variable, many on the back 9 were slow & sticky.

Happy that the golf course is in good condition but need someone to move groups along and spread out the tee times

We played at 1:00ish midweek. After 4 1/2 hours, we left the course - with 4 holes yet to play! Ranger was present and concerned, but never got things moving as should be. Overseeded fairways were fine and greens putted and held shots well enough. Wish their players would repair a few more ballmarks! Course had a nice variety of holes and the good riding carts. But attitudes were good fortunately we were paired with a very nice couple.
