Greens condition
The golf course has an average layout in a dated community setting. Excellent greens made playing the course enjoyable.
Manatee GC
We played as a two-some and were paired up with another two-some of similar ability. A foursome ahead of us probably should have been on a less challenging course and created a bit of a waiting game but we did finish our round in four hours and fifteen minutes..
The course is in decent shape for a muni; greens are decent and fairways are pretty good. A good layout makes this a good challenge.
Remote but worth it
Although a bit out of the way (for me) it is worth the one hour drive. A little scratchy if you miss the fairways, but all in all fun to play.
Starter
Second time playing and it was a repeat. Starter or whatever he was did not do anything but ask for a tip. No indication on which carts to use. No help with bags. Starts the round with a weird vibe
Course was nice. Lots of water so hit it straight
Okay course
Pace of play was four hours, with no feel of being pushed or us waiting.
Leap Year @ Manatee County
Course is in good shape, fairways and green are best in sometime. Pace of play was little slow but overall not a bad day on course. It is expected this time of year as Florida welcomes Spring Training and Spring Break. Come out and enjoy
Enjoyable Round
With a 1:39 tee time, I was expecting a slooow round. Pleasantly surprised to get around in just over 4 hours. Pace of play was steady. A couple of par 3 s had 2 groups but all in a it was nice.
Fairways are really looking good. Greens are good. Rough is rough as expected for this time of the year. To top it off I managed to get a hot deal so the price on this round was great.
New to me
Liked it a lot. It was cart path only but still super playable. The starter was in charge, love that.
Nice round
The pace of play was ok for a Sunday. Price was good from Golf Now. Course was in good shape from tees to greens.
Fun with Decent Challenges
This was a fun course with a friendly staff and for this time of year, decently priced (only because rates almost triple until the snowbirds go home).
Pace of play for the weekend was above average. People kept up and helped keep your rhythm in your swing. Greens were a bit slow but it looked like they were sanded within the past couple of weeks, but that’s just upkeep. What made it fun was the layout. Dog legs, blind shots, narrow fairways on a few but open on others… just really fun with variation.
Take in a round and enjoy yourself!
