Manatee Golf Course

Nice course. Good layout. Enjoyed playing. Do have one gripe, which is many dry spots on the course.

The greens are decent but the fairways and tee boxes aren't.

I was double charged for this tee time and spent hours on the phone trying to contact someone. never did

Tee boxes and fairways and collars are the green in worst condition imaginable

The cart guy Teddy couldn't be friendlier. Very helpful with great tips on the course. Carts were very clean and had plenty of power to go through all 18 holes even though it was the end of the day. Our group had a great time and the course had its small challenges. It was great for our group. Definitely going back.

Fun challenging course. Greens on the slow side but in great condition.

My son and I went out yesterday and had a 5:30 tee time. We tee’d off about 5:15 and played 18 in 3hrs. So when we came back through the starter yelled at us and said ‘let’s go” I stopped the cart and said what did we do wrong it’s 8:15 and still light out sorry you want to go home, but we paid for 18 and played 18. I’m not sure why they have 5:30 tee times if they are going to harass you.

Last year this course was unplayable- more likely to hit a hole in one than to find a blade of grass. A couple of tee boxes weren’t back yet, but the course was in really good shape considering the lack of rain- kudos to the staff!

Terrible conditions…greens super samdy and punched….fairways brown..tee boxs non existent…bunkers hard as rock and just dirt instead of samd…asked on phone if they were aerating and told me they didnt think so also golf shop receptionist is rude… prob will not be back to this place…waste of time much better courses around for same money

From a consistent 78-83 golfer:

Greens were punched and sanded. Very slow and rough. Tee boxes on 75% of the holes were bare and mostly sand. Fairways were hit or miss, most had weeds. A lot of the people who play here are new golfers so it’s slow and the etiquette isn’t quite there. This should be a $15-20 course max, anything over is unreasonable. If you want to get out there to drink beers and have a good time with friends who are new golfers, this is your place

I like this course, great value, greens are in great shape, tee boxes are not in great shape but that’s not too important to me and they seem to be working on it, fairways are rough in a few spots but very normal for Florida this time of year, there’s one Marshall who’s always yelling at everybody, but every other employee I’ve encountered has been awesome

For July in Florida, I think the conditions, such as extremely dry tee boxes, are to be expected. Temperature was mid-90s.

This could become my go-to course. I like that it's a fairly open layout. I found the staff (pro shop check-in and man organizing the carts) to be friendly and helpful.
