Manatee Golf Course

It used to be that $80 would get you a well manicured golf course. The white boxes were a skeleton without turf. The fairways were very thin requiring rolling many lies onto a tuft of grass. The greens were ok but very slow.

Greens were very good and large . Fairways were good. Tee boxes left something to be desired . Layout was fair. The two guys they put me with were great. The only thing that I could complain about was the group in front of us were really slow and there was no one to speed them up or let us play through

Golf cart man jumped to conclusion when we had 4 payed people and only 3 bags. Explained to him only 3 would play but he alerted other staff and then followed us around the course. Not cool. The price they are charging for this Muni is way to high to be hassled.

This course is a decent challenge. It is in relatively good condition. I have played here for several years when I am vacationing and the greens are the best I have experienced over the years. The tee boxes need work and the fairways are quite good. I don’t like hitting off the mats on the range but realize the grass areas need time to regrow. The chipping green is awful and I would prefer to have at least 2 regular holes cut on the practice putting green as opposed to only having posts. All said, I will continue to play this course.

The only issue we had was the tee box conditions, not much grass but everything else was top notch for the price.

We played the scores for the first time with winds averaging about 20 mph. The tea boxes were not well maintained but the greens and fairways were both fine.. It’s always tough the first time you play a course. We would like to try this again.

Course condition was fair, and I had an overall pleasant experience. The putting greens were in great shape.

Overall, we enjoyed the course.

The greens were in very good condition. The fairways were also good. Some of rhe tee-offs need a little bit of love, but overall, we had fun playing there and would recommend it.

Went off alone fairly early and finished in 2 1/2 hrs.

Course was in good shape except for a couple of tee boxes. Would definitely play here again.

Course was not bad to play but it is close to a sewer plant and it was quite smelly on the back 9 for 2/3holes…..

Fun layout especially back 9, tee boxes need help but greens are in great shape. I’d play it again especially if Golf Now Hot Deals fees available. Please let it rain!
