Pinebrook Ironwood Golf Course

This course is very tight so you better be on your game. Lots of sand and water. Surrounded by four-story condominiums. Pace of play it was a little slow, but the course conditions were new perfect.

Well first off the picture for this golf course isn’t even a picture of this golf course. Super deceiving. Looks like the people who run this course only have 1 thing they keep up with is the greens. Which they are very nice besides the holes that have a huge sections of dead grass because they punched holes back to back to back so if u land in it goooood luck. Fairways and tee boxes are hard a a rock good luck getting under your ball. And the grass is not grass straight up sandy weeds everywhere. Basically ground under repair throughout the whole course.

Some interesting holes, some very straightforward. Only one dogleg. Other reviewers talk about narrow fairways, I don't think they're very narrow -- just in a few spots. The condos don't affect play, unless you are really wild. Yes, there are many water hazards but nearly all are lateral hazards, and not that hard to avoid. THere are only a few forced carries (from the white tees), and even fewer from the reds. Bunkers were well maintained, but the sand is heavy, especially if it's wet. Greens were mostly very good, although there were small areas under repair on some greens. Overall, this is a decent executive style course, in reasonable condition for a public course. It's priced appropriately. It's a good place for higher handicap players or beginners, and the staff was helpful and pleasant. I applaud the new owners, they are doing a good job!

I recently began playing this course weekly with two friends who have been playing it for years. What a hidden gem. Greens are extremely challenging, fairways are tight, and every hole has it's twists. For a par 61, it's as challenging as any executive course I have played. You don't get the feeling you are just practicing your short game...you WORK for those pars. This is a weekly game I plan on continuing for a long time

An excellent course for the money and it's a fun course two players,

The fairways were pretty narrow with lots of condos. The greens were very nice. Tee boxes were in good shape too. A big problem I had was all of the water on the course. There were 20+ bodies of water on the course

Nice green but very difficult! Very slow play because players in front of us keep looking for balls in lakes.

We enjoyed the short course. Greens and fairways were in very goof condition. Was a great preseason workout for our short game.

This a good place to go if you just want to get out to hit the ball. Very short, even the par 4's. Not a big challenge. Greens were very slow.

Play was sometimes slow but generally OK .well organised with the starter.
The greens could do with an iron but it was the end of the day and the greens were well used by this time.
Overall a nice course

Great course to walk....you don't find many of those anymore. Course was in great shape. You won't need your driver much, maybe two holes. Still, challenging enough and if you have a partner who needs a little more room in the fairway this will work out nice. Staff was friendly and the starter was helpful. Great, nice and easy course. Will be back!

Lots of neat shorter holes with water and sand well placed. A fun course

8 par 3's and the yardage is off on a lot of them. Good beginner course. A lot of walkers slow down the pace.
