Pinebrook Ironwood Golf Course

Ironwood is a fun but short course. Very nice greens and reasonably priced. Located between apartment buildings its well designed to still have plenty of room. Overall a course I frequent and would definitely recommend to others.

Great course for a short one. Greens will give you a challenge and make it fun. But can get backed up at certain times of day.

The greens are in fantastic shape. Very quick and true. A great course with lots of risks and rewards. Great course!

We frequently play executive courses to hone our short-game
skills. I'm sure the average golfer thinks these short courses are easy but his would be the exception. The course is very challenging and we scored quite a bit higher than usual. The greens were the best we've seen this year but also the most difficult due to undulation and lightning speed. Hold on to your hats !

the 18-hole course at the Pinebrook/Ironwood Golf Course in Bradenton, Florida was GREAT

You won't need your driver except for a 378 yd par 4. All the other holes can be reached in one. However, you better be able to shape your shots. To be safe, it's probably the type of course when you need course management.

The greens were outstanding. Lots of water and adequate length to challenge any golfer.

Greens were excellent. Fairways were not as good. Challenging course even though it is short; number of well placed traps and water comes into play on several holes.

Loved the course and staff. Close to home. Made reservations on line at Golf Now and had no problems. Will definitely do this again.

Played here a month ago and vowed not to again as we were behind a foursome that was incredibly slow....spending 5 or more minutes to fish balls out of pond; inefficient and slow movement of group, etc. on 1st 9. Behind IMG students (2 foursomes) on 2nd 9 and it was worse...instructors letting students fish for balls in pond/mud with their golf club for lengthy periods while remainder of foursome watched; carts on apron and greens. etc. Backed up 5 foursomes behind us and we eventually left w/o completing course.
Tried again this week and again terribly slow play...over 5 hrs on executive course. Weren't advised ahead that league of 40 plays around our tee time on TH, half on front and half on back. Waits were much longer than they should have,,,no good flow to the game. Doubtful we'll return.

Fun course .you have to control your short irons,greens were very nice.Will play again.

Very good practise for your short game.
Use the Par 3 holes as approach shots für you regular golf rounds, you can leave your Driver in the bag.
Accuracy is the key.
My wife even enjoyed playing, because the holes were not as long as on a regular par 72 course and she played better than ever ( 6 pars and 1 birdie !!! ) which earned me a good cooking
when we came home.

Front 9 course of play was excellent, at the turn groups had already started teeing with more waiting,
Staff was very accommodating and gave us a raincheck for 9 holes.

Greens are good and very fast. Rest of the course is just ok. Lots of very slow players.

The course is in very good shape. Tight with plenty of water coming into play. Greens recently relayed, great to put on.

This course is very short but it is not easy. The 18th hole you have to shoot over a large oak tree and water. You can not even see the pin. The greens are a 10 out of 10. This course is on the pricey side if you dont go through www.golfnow.com.

nice executive course, good value @ golf now price. But like most Florida courses in the Bradenton area, kind of pricey @ the regular rate. Super fast greens most of the winter. easy par 4's but some very challenging par 3's.

course is very slow and is dangerous because of the layout not very socialable club house

Excellent greens, not easy to play due to lot's of bunkers arount them.
